My career has been a litigation attorney, superior court judge, and corporate counsel. We live out of state, and our son goes to graduate school in the Atlanta area. When he was arrested for a felony, we did our research to find the right attorney for him, including inquiring within our network of contacts in the legal, judicial, and law enforcement fields, including a retired FBI agent, for recommendations. We talked to several but Mr. Zimmerman was the one that my son, my wife and I were the most comfortable with and agreed upon, abeit all for different reasons. Throughout his representation of my son, he was very professional, patient, and communicated with him and us regularly and responded to any of our questions promptly. We never felt we were just another one of his cases, that he had to refresh his recollection of the specific details of our son's case, or did or said anything that caused us to question his commitment to our son's case. His investigation, legal knowledge and research were excellent, which, combined with his persistence, were instrumental in accurately telling the "legal facts" of the story and achieving the "best case scenario" outcome in our son's case. Each of us highly praise him for his personal and professional services to us in his representation of our son, and we recommend him very highly.

Lawrence was hired by my family while I was sitting in Jail in Detroit after being pulled off of an airplane by 3 Detroit Police officers ad 3 customs agents. I was arrested because my wife had claimed that I had raped her and despite the absurdity of the claim the State took it very seriously and issued a warrant for my arrest. I spent 17 days in a Detroit jail over Thanksgiving.
At that point I already had and attorney that offered me nothing but excuses. Lawrence took the bull by the horns, got me back to Atlanta and was able to get a me a consent bond and had me out on bail 4 days after arriving to Atlanta. As a result of his tenacity I was able to keep my job despite the predicament I was in.
Unlike the other 4 lawyers I have dealt with Lawrence would respond to my correspondence usually the same day and if he couldn't he would at lest acknowledge that he received my call or email. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT SPENDING DECADES IN JAIL FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T DO.
The District Attorney dragged their feet for 9 months and the whole time Lawrence was on them to drop the ridiculous charges and finally they did. This was no accident. Lawrence works with an excellent private investigator, JT, who has many years experience as a detective. They put together all of the evidence that was presented to the prosecution to show them that there was no case.
He was even able to go directly to the Judge and get my bond modified to allow me to take my 2.5 year old son to the beach.
Lawrence, thank you so much. I can now move on with my life and can fight to get custody of my son from the woman that caused all of this.
My family and I are forever grateful.
To anybody that gets into a bad situation like myself, CALL LAWRENCE ZIMMERMAN.
Brian Ross, Car accident Attorney
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I've known Lawrence for many years and he has always been a very dedicated and passionate advocate for his clients. I worked for Lawrence while in law school and later had cases against him while I was a Senior Assistant. District Attorney in Fulton County. He's a very hardworking, skilled, and knowledgeable attorney which is exemplified in his results. I would recommend him, without question.
