Lawrence Jason Zimmerman

Lawrence is very level headed and strictly business and priority driven being to get his clients the best results. I was charged with 4 felonies and 3 misdemeanors. This was my first time being in any serious legal trouble. I was emotional and if you are in a legal situation that is expected. Law...rence is very level headed. The end result is that I was charged with 3 misdemeanors and during the court preceding Lawrence was more knowledgeable than the judge about certain laws. At the time of my plea during court Lawrence reminded the judge of the law that would allow my record to be seal immediately on the same day as my court hearing. The end result I was sentenced to misdemeanor probation with my record sealed. I am able to resume my life and keep my job. My original charges where Aggravated assault, false imprisonment, theft by taking, kidnapping, cruelty to children, interfering with a 911 call . I went to court on the first of the month and going on out of the country 2 weeks later a free man. For all that is reading this post and need an attorney this is a big decision make a good choice. I was falsely accused of aggravated sexual battery and quickly went to Lawrence's office where he showed support and knowledge of what to do next. I felt confident choosing him to represent me. Lawrence teams with J.T. of Spearhead Investigations and because of J.T.'s detective work, he was able to... find the claimant had falsely accused another man of rape within the year and that case was closed due to lies. He represented me at the Preliminary hearing and I was very impressed by his preparation and intelligence. Although I was given an arrest warrant and went in myself, further investigation went underway, and Lawrence remained in touch and focused on getting the accusations dismissed. The teamwork and communication between everyone and the DA worked in our favor and because of Lawrence's attention to detail and logic the case was ultimately dismissed without an indictment. When the unfounded charges of child molestation and sexual battery were setting me up for doomed trial, and possible years in prison, I felt like my public and professional life was over. Less than 6 months ago, I was Charged with 2x Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, Possession of a Firearm During the Comission of a Felony, and Domestic Violence. I was completely Innocent, and facing a lengthy prison sentance if convicted. This was my first time being charged with anything. Almost a year ago, I was charged with a felony (possession of illicit drugs) and my case was dismissed at the bond hearing. A year and a half later, when I was having a background check done for employment, I learned that the case had been reopened and that I had missed a court date (without my know...ledge) and therefore was convicted of this crime. The biggest issue I had with the entire situation was that I was never in possession of any illegal substance, no evidence was ever brought forth, and the police department pulled me over for no apparent reason and searched my car without my permission. They just decided they were going to arrest me and immediately took me to one of their "under-cover" facilities to try and scare me into "ratting-out" anyone that I might have possibly known with a drug connection. Too bad for them, I don't know anyone with a connection, and I wouldn't have told them squat even if I did. Really shotty, pathetic police work, again. Since this case had re-appeared without my knowledge, and because I was trying to get my name cleared so that I could take the Series 7, in order to obtain my general securities license, I needed this case taken care of as quickly as possible. With Lawrence's help, this case was dropped in a matter of a month and a half (and would have been even sooner if the court would've allowed us to have the case heard sooner) and I was allowed to continue on my career path unobstructed. Not only was he able to get the case dropped, and my good name cleared, but the charge will also be expunged from my record forever, meaning I will not ever have to explain this ridiculous situation ever again. During this whole process, Lawrence was readily available to take any calls and answer any questions that I had during this turbulant time. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck, as my career was literally hanging by a thread, but Lawrence continually assured me that he would handle the case and that I shouldn't worry as he had multiple avenues in which to pursue this charge, and that he would get it thrown out. His confidence was unwavering, which was some relief, and I wanted to believe him, but in a situation that was this huge in scope, it was hard. Turns out, he was right, and I should have just relaxed and allowed him to work the system. I could not be any happier with the outcome of this situation, and I'm thankful that Lawrence was able to deliver on everything he said he would, and that he was able to do it in such an expediate manner. With everything behind me, I'm able to go back to my life without the worry of this felony ever rearing its ugly head again. The fact that the case was dropped and expunged is a testament to Lawrence's abilities as a legal councilor. I highly recommend his practice to all that are looking for a positive, expediant, outcome.
