  I just thought that I should say something about my case. I haven't signed for my check and I've been holding this letter for about a week because every time I look at it I get upset.    Even though your people weren't mean nor disrespectful that's about the only thing I can say good about them.... I felt like my case wasn't taken serious. I felt like they just went through my case because it wasn't a big one. I felt like I had to sign this settlement because it didn't seem like they weren't even Interested in given me the right settlement.     I wasn't trying to get rich all I wanted was my medical bills paid and my lost time wages for all the time I had to take to go to the dr. and just to get my body back right. I am a area leader at a aluminum recycling plant and my job is very physical but I guess my lawyer didn't care or think I was worth the headache to even ask for my lost time wages and I emailed him and asked about it the first time he sent State Farm an offer.   When I came to the office to talk face to face with another lawyer and to let him know that I wasn't satisfied with the offer he had the nerve to lie in my face saying I can only $25,000 in the state of Georgia. #1 I wasn't even asking for that and #2 I know that's a lie. And yes that's exactly what he said and I had someone there who heard him say that.    I came to your firm being this was my first accident and thinking that your firm was gonna be professional about my case, I would have respected them more if you just would have turned me away instead of just handling my case like it didn't matter to them.  Just because I'm a african american woman doesn't mean that I'm stupid or that $1,300 was gonna satisfy me, I have a real job not some fast food job. I was making that a week before I got hurt.I could have just went to someone in Athens instead of going all the way to Duluth.    I know that the people that handle my case would have handled it much different if it was their mother or wife or daughter and I deserve that same treatment.    I could never advise anyone to come to your firm they way they handle my case and I know I'm not the first person to feel this way because as I ask people about your firm after the fact that I  had your people handling my case they said they had the same problem that i was having.    All i can say is that you live and learn and i will do my research before ever hiring a lawyer off of the commercial that he claims that he will fight for me. 

To be brief... I was hit by someone driving an F350 Loaded with plumbing pipes, supplies, etc. It was a 90% head-on impact. HE WAS SPEEDING @ APPROX. 90 M.P.H. ! The company had a $ 1 million policy. That equals a $ 1 million attorney....The person that hit me called 911 ( a RECORDED line ) & confir...med that he" made a mistake, he was looking at a turn signal ; and ran a red light. " people at the other light also called 911- stating that " the guy in the truck, ran the light and hit the guy in the van..." I received this info. with " JUST ONE CALL " ( sadly from my new attorney; whom also did not FIGHT for me.) you see, the other driver called his boss at the scene; so his statement to the officer on the scene was..." I was sitting at the red light, when it turned green ,I proceeded, but could not avoid hitting the man in the van " LIES ! This statement kept him his job @ yohe plumbing, and since ken nugent was too scared to make ' one call, that's all ' and also too afraid too go to court, I was asked by my Dr. how I would be paying my bill , I said to send them to my atty. they informed me ' ken nugent, had dropped my case. I later find that because I claimed to have had the right-of-way as well as the person that hit me....they ( nugent's people ' ) would not continue forward with my case. Of course they did not tell me... I find out after 2.5 mos. from the Dr.s office. NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS AT ALL !

My case was handled years ago through this law office. They took more than the agreed upon percentage, over charged what my medical bills added up to, and to this day I have severe issues from the accident. I received 5600$ out of 25000$. I have a permanent scar on my eye and my attorney got to keep ...most the money.

Someone ran into me head on and totalled my car. I called Ken's office they had someone come out within days. I thought I had the right lawyers....boy was I wrong. They sent me to Arrowhead to get mediocre treatment that help, said they would help with a rental never got it. Spent hundreds on taxis t...o work and treatment. Spoke with my attorney twice...the day I signed on and the day they decided to settle. Mind you that was four months apart. They didn't care that I had wasted all my hard earned money on cabs, that I was without a car or that I was still in pain. The day he settled I asked if the offer was fair...he said he could see about getting my medical reduced..from the agreement it looks like it dropped maybe 2k if that...but he still ends up with twice as much money as I will receive. I am still left with over 7K in a car loan I don't own anymore and hundreds of lost income and money due to cabs. I would NEVER hire nor recommend this firm.

I hired Ken and his team to pursue my accident case. I was pregnant and needed the legal Weight lifted off my shoulders. This firm was a VERY bad choice. I was their client and they made me feel as if they were representing the man that hit me. I talked to numerous of his associates. When it was All ...said and done. The firm received the same amount of money as I did. Oh forgot to mention they did give me a penny more. I will NEVER recommend.
