John Barnes

It's hard to describe my experience with mere simple words. I hired John Barnes and it was the smartest decision I could have possibly made. This sort of thing is a horrible ordeal to go thru ..full of uncertainty and fear but I can honestly say that I wouldn't have the peace of mind I do now if it w...eren't for John. This gentleman seriously cares and listens to every detail you give him and takes all of this into consideration and thoroughly analyzes and reviews every aspect to represent you to the best of his ability. Yes i probably sound like a commercial but this is real...this is my real life and this man helped me and cared and did everything he could. My outcome was very very good. If you need to hire an attorney your search is over if you want a smart, fair, hardworking individual who knows exactly what he is doing. I also want to add that he was always available to answer questions anytime about anything and help put your mind at ease. Finally...his assistant Lauren is the most amazing lady. I sent Lauren so many emails about various things and questions and concerns and she always listened..answered and encouraged...I cant explain how much she helped me on a practically daily basis. Yes this has been a lengthy review but I barely scratched the surface because while I still have alot to deal with in the upcoming year or so I wouldn't have gotten results like i did without this team. One of the worst days of my life occurred when another vehicle pulled out in front of me, I swerved to miss it, hit a telephone pole and was unfairly charged with a DUI JUST because I was a bartender and was going home after work at 3am. I was arrested for DUI & possession of schedule 4 drug in June of 2014. My court date was set for a day in August. I happen to go into treatment that same day. After completing the program three months later, i knew id have to face the situation id put off. This was my second time being charged with a dui in Knoxville(beat the charge last time too) so i was expecting this one to stick. I went back in front of the judge, plead to the possession charge, and that was it! No supervised probation. Just court costs and i was free to go. John Barnes definitely got me the best outcome i couldve hoped for. There was some questions about the actual arrest, and the sobriety test, and i feel John really exploited that weakness. I would 100% recommend John Barnes for any legal matter you may incur. He always stayed in touch, and did exactly what he said he would and more!

Despite the stress and worry and helpless feelings I had about my case and charges, Mr. Barnes always gave me my options straight without sugarcoating, took a personal interest in my case which made me feel as though I was in the best hands possible.The outcome was that 4 out of 5 charges were dropped and I could never thank Mr. Barnes (and his staff) for fighting for my case relentlessly and truly "won" my case for me. I and my family would recommend Mr. Barnes to anyone seeking legal representation in his field of expertise. In this case (DUI/DWI/Misdemeanor Posession of various illegal substances). I am also an average Jane and was always treated as a top priority. It was truly an honor and blessing to have him on my side as my defense attorney!
