Janis Francesca Mann

I hired Janis in 2020. She has not filed a motion on my behalf, she will not return my calls or emails, or even respond to in-person visits. I have tried to contact her at least 1-10 times a month since 2021 to get an update on the progress of my case. I can't even fire her because she will NOT respo...nd to me. Watch out! If your case isn't newsworthy she will take your money and toss you to the wayside. Other than that, she's great at getting your hopes up to do NOTHING!

How to describe this attorney money hungry an someone whom makes promises before looking at a client's case takes money before finding out if anything can be done an treats lil things you can do yourself as if a high price tag I basically paid $2,263 for case papers an was told there are no grounds o...n my LO case when his whole sentencing is wrong anyways if you would have done same research I have done you would know this so what are you really license for if your so scared to dig into things an get to the bottom of this some attorney you are for someone whom is done his time but needs his sentencing fixed in order to not rot in jail an someone whom doesn't read case papers or transcripts taken there time throughout this what a waste of time ... hope others realize an don't fall for what I did very disappointed... Back in November 2018, Janis Mann agreed to take on my grandson's case. I paid her over $6,000 as legal counsel for my grandson. Initially she came across as genuine and caring. She assured me that her diligence in helping her client would not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, her words did not match ...her behavior. She said she could not find the documents I sent to her twice. She showed up an hour and a half later for a meeting I had with her. She was never prepared for this case and seem to stonewall the entire process. After several more attempts I realize that Ms. Mann was not going to return e-mails nor communicate with her client. I was out of $6,000 and that was it. Be careful when with this Attorney.
