Hello!
My name is Jordan K. Van Matre. I am a native to Henry County Georgia and excited to announce the opening of my own law practice. Formerly an Assistant District Attorney for Henry County and a Bankruptcy Attorney, I have the experience you need to help you with your case. Below is some information about me and my experience.
I attended the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy. Thereafter, I attended Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia, where I obtained my Doctorate of Juris Prudence. While there, I was blessed with the opportunity to win several competitions and awards, which include "Best Oralist," Deans List, and the Area Award for Negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Since passing the Georgia Bar exam in 2010, I have gained a wealth of experience as an attorney. I began my legal career serving clients in financial trouble as a top-litigator for one of Atlanta's premier Bankruptcy law firms. There, I helped hundreds of Atlantans reorganize their financial affairs, consolidate their debt, and keep their homes and other personal belongings.
Eager to serve my community, I left the private sector and began serving as an Assistant District Attorney for both the Griffin Judicial Circuit (Spalding County) and then the Flint Judicial Circuit (Henry County), my home. In this capacity I have handled hundreds of cases of all kinds, from petty theft to murder. In a two year time-frame, I have tried at least 10 jury trials, all of which resulted in convictions or hung juries. I have a passion for trial advocacy and fairness in the judicial system, and am deeply committed to serving my fellow citizens with quality and competent legal practice.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Whitney, and my best friend and dog Buddy. We are adamant about staying involved in our community and helping it grow.
Thank you for viewing my page. I look forward to helping you in any way I can.
Sincerely,
Jordan K. Van Matre, Esq.

I was in the best hands possible!
I had never been in any sort of trouble before, so when I received a citation for a very serious traffic violation which put my license in jeopardy. I found him punctual and attentive and prepared and detail oriented and with a good attitude. I observed his professional relations with clients and attorneys. I knew of his goals and plans. He had a successful time with a District Attorney's office. I am confident the attributes I observed will carry into whatever he does."
