Jordan Kerry Van Matre

I hired him on my case and it seems that he worked with the DA on my case. The first deal that the DA offered me with was the only deal. MR MATRE NEVER TRIED TO FIGHT FOR ME He never filed certain motions in my case and once I had to take the deal offered. I signed a plea deal in the hall. And when ...I got in front of the judge I agreed to the deal I knew of that I signed and agreed to in the hall. The judge read back a different plea that Mr Jordan allowed the DA to add a year after I have signed the papers. And he also told me it would not go to my drivers license but it did.All he kept telling me was what he thought and that the judge change the plea. But if a judge changes or does not agree with a plea deal by law he must inform you. Do not hire Jordan K. Van Matre you are better off representing yourself.

A complaint was made that I touched someone inappropriately. I received a call from a detective who asked me to come in for questioning. Jordan was hired. He tried multiple times to contact the detectives to arrange for us to come in for questioning. Jordan said no calls was returned. A bench wa...rrant was issued for my son arrest about 3 or 4 months later, which neither my son or Jordan or I was aware of. He was arrested in school. The case was dismissed in November by the DA office prior to the trial date. It was a very horrific and trying time for my son and my family Jordan was very responsive to all our calls and kept us updated. My family was very frustrated and upset and Jordan kept us focused. We were able to compile and secure alot of documents that could help us, since the case had been accused and we had to prepare for trial. We were very thankful when it was finally over. Jordan is an excellent attorney.
