Ernest Dewitt Napier III

I was under “Compact Services” from the State of Georgia. I was hoping to get some relief from the court system in Douglasville, Georgia. I attempted to contact three different attorneys to discuss my situation. Because I am in a different time zone, I contacted each attorney outside of normal busine...ss hours. I was extremely surprised that Mr. Napier responded within the hour of my initial voice mail to his office. The other attorneys never even returned my calls. Mr. Napier was always very diligent in returning my calls and keeping me informed of the progress of my appeal. He always treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. I did not find that with the original counselor dealing with my case. I found that Mr. Napier is highly respected by the Douglasville Judicial System and the District Attorney’s Office. I believe that was very beneficial to the successful resolution of my petition. If I were ever to need legal services again, in the State of Georgia, I would seek the assistance of Mr. Napier without any reservation.

Mr. Napier is a good person with southern values. He has a certain calmness about him that helped me feel more confident during the most stressful time in my life. He took the time to get to know me and always reassured me not to worry, even though he knew I would anyway. I hope to never need a la...wyer again, but if I do I'm going to call Mr. Napier because I trust him and his skills as an experienced attorney are beyond reproach. Ed Naiper was very good for me. He always called me back and stayed in communcation with me, which is important. He was very patient with my indecisiveness of what to do as far as plea out, blind plea or trial. He was clear what he was advising but also very willing to go to trial if I wanted. I defi...nitely recommend Ed Naiper as a criminal defense attorney. He was very timely in everything that I needed him to do including a bond hearing. I was facing alot of time on serious charges and got probation.

Mr. Napier did an overall good job with my case but had some glaring faults in the way he handled me personally. He failed to EVER return a phone call once I hired him. (Over a dozen unreturned calls.) It got to the point that neither he nor his assistant would answer the phone when I called from m...y phone. She would answer only when I called from another phone. I never received a final accounting of time & charges from him. After saying all that, I am very pleased with the outcome of my divorce. He even returned some of my retainer which I have never heard of before. I am honestly torn as to whether or not to recommend him to someone else.
