Bad experience

I would never suggest this attorney! She was paid the majority of her fee (as I paid her monthly and on time payments) and at the last minute, she advised that she would no longer be representing the case because she was moving out of state. She thought because she referred me to another attorney tha...t she did a good gesture. However she was paid and i'm still waiting on the itemized list that shows her billable hours after a month of her saying she would send it. I asked for the list because she claims that the work she did was equal to the the amount she had already been paid which was over a thousand dollars. I called her around the first week of December and no response! I would not suggest anyone hiring her, I thought she was very nice and claimed to be a godly woman, but this is not how you treat people. I would have at least expected some of my money back however the fact that she offered nothing and i'm still waiting for the itemized list and the case file, says a lot. Do not hire her if you want to be represented.

Think twice..I was dropped one week before trial.

I can honestly say that I am a man that believes in Allah. I accredit all of my most positive moments with God but I also take the negative experiences and learn from them. I hired Mrs. Antoinette Pierre- Louis in June 2016 to represent my case in Morgan County, GA in which I told her that I plea NOT... GUILTY. Attorney Pierre-Louis assured me that she would do ALL that she could to provide the best justice possible. I was in such a vulnerable place, being incarcerated at the time, I signed the client attorney agreement.... To my understanding Attorney Pierre- Louis would handle my case from beginning to end. Since I did not get released from the detention center until July 15th I had my Queen communicate with Attorney Pierre-Louis on my behalf. From my understanding Attorney Pierre comforted my Queen with strong affirmations that she is diligently working on my case and she was mostly awaiting on the DA to provide her with discovery evidence including the most crucial evidence of the brutality that I received on that day of my arrest as well as the photos of my most extensive injuries. Months after my arrest, September 2016 to be exact, my Queen called her private attorney and he informed her that Attorney Pierre-Louis had indeed received the video of the beating received by the GA state troopers. When I called Attorney Pierre-Louis she told me that she would call me back about the video. I never received a phone call. We tried calling Attorney Pierre Louis on several occasions to sit down and discuss the details of the video as well as my options as we prepare for trial since I entered a plea of NOT GUILTY. On Nov 18th 2016 I received a phone call from the assistant of Attorney Pierre-Louis, in which I had never heard of this assistant prior to that date, informing me that Attorney Pierre-Louis would be relocating and would no longer represent my case. I paid Attorney Pierre-Louis a total of 3,000 and my last payment was made on November 5, 2016. I called her assistant and informed her assistant that I would like to speak with Attorney Pierre-Louis about this very unexpected news to only find out that she is out of the country and would have to schedule a time when she could talk. To no surprise Attorney Pierre- Louis was very direct to say that she would not return ANY of the money that I paid for her services and I would have to find another attorney before I was to go to trial. Attorney Pierre-Louis represented my case a total of two times in court since I hired her in June 2016 and at my bond reduction hearing she wrote the questions down right before court but I extensively gave her all of my accomplishments twice before. During my preliminary hearing she did not provide any rebuttal to the charges that should of have been dropped instead she consoled me by saying that 9/10 most cases are found to have had probable cause. On Nov 28th 2016 I was to be present for trial but instead Attorney Pierre-Louis stood up in court and said that she will be withdrawing from my case and returning to Florida. All I could do was sit there like a ton of bricks and contemplate the challenge of finding another attorney now that she awaited until I was to go to trial to tell me that she would relocate. Outside of the court room on November 28th she assured me that she would provide me with a plea deal as well as a continuance until February 2017. She never answered her phone after that day and she never submitted a continuance on my behalf. I received in the mail one week ago that I now have a new trial date on January 3rd 2017. The most shocking part of this experience was that she was so positive and reassuring about my case. I made very elaborate steps to ensure that I kept active communication with Attorney Pierre-Louis and never once did she mention that she would drop me one week after my last payment, not refund any of the 3,000 paid for her legal services in which included at least a plea deal, and relocate to Florida. Im hurt.

Best attorney I have hired!

The case is not finished however Antoinette is the best lawyer I have had. She is very hands on and has communicated every small to big detail. I'm very hopeful that everything will work out because she is definitely on top of the case and I have been able to rest in the fact that I've hired the righ...t attorney.
