Theo M. Sereebutra

Theo was very knowledgeable about the process and steps to take in my case. He was very honest and upfront about what I needed to do. He made his suggestion but ultimately allowed me to decide which route to take. He was upfront about his fees and services entailed and was true to his word with the s...upport and ensuring that what we both agreed to commit to was completed on each other’s part. He made recommendations to other facilities that made my process easy and smooth sailing. Very little extensive research was done on my part and I am happy to say that I chose Theo to represent me. His assistants were informative as well and communication with them and Theo was spot on.

Mr. Sereebutra and his firm represented me when I was facing serious criminal charges for destruction of property. I had never faced criminal charges before, but in a moment of anger I inflicted damage upon a vehicle which was illegally parked and blocking access for my paralyzed wife to get her whe...elchair into our side-entry van. I didn't cause much damage, but law enforcement determined it was enough damage to warrant a felony charge. I was terrified and feared that I had ruined my life in that one moment. My wife contacted Theo while I was being held in police custody and he agreed to represent me. After posting bail I had a lot of questions about the legal process and what to expect. Mr. Sereebutra, as well as Mr. Cordell and Ms. Lester, patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions each step of the way which helped calm my nerves. They were honest and upfront about the outlook for my case. Theo said he couldn't promise, but that it was his sincere hope that he could get my case referred to pre-trial diversion. He gave me a solid outline of things I could do on my end to increase the chances of a successful diversion while he made his best argument with the DA on my behalf for the diversion program. Thank the Lord, our efforts were successful and I was able to serve probation and have the case dismissed. Theo and his team were able to help me avert a life-ruining disaster, and did so for a rate that I thought was more than fair.

I came to Mr. Sereebutra at the beginning of 2020 as a very distressed individual. I was arrested back in 2019. While not going into every detail of the incident, I was ultimately accused of a very serious offense that I did not commit. This was my first time ever being arrested, and due to the sever...ity of the consequences that I knew could follow a charge of that degree, it had all started to weigh very heavily on me mentally. On my frantic search for a criminal defense attorney, this is when I came across Mr. Sereebutra. Since the first day I stepped into his office for consultation, he was always upfront and honest with me. While at the same time, always very helpful and supportive. The county I was charged in was one of the toughest to be charged with a criminal offense, and this would not be an easy case. He was sure that I understood this before proceeding. When I shook his hand and concluded our conversation, I was confident that I had made the right choice by hiring him as I walked out of the office. From that day on, I was sure to complete all tasks that he required of me in a timely manner, while I trusted him to use this evidence to build my defense. Fast forward to today, and the charge was reduced tremendously, no jail time, and I am free to be here writing this review today. I am very thankful and grateful for all the work Mr. Sereebutra has done for me. I would definitely recommend him twice to anyone who is looking for a criminal defense attorney or is in a similar situation to mine previously. I very much appreciated Mr. Sereebutra's time and help. My spouse called his office while the law officers were still talking w/ me, and Mr. Sereebutra took the call right then and stayed on the line until we knew what the officers chose to do, even though there was no guarantee that we would retain... his services. We did hire him, and I appreciated that he took our concerns seriously and explained without "talking down" to us. He did not promise us rainbows and sunshine, yet he did get the charges dismissed. Until that happy day, having him in our ring was a great comfort.

Our child was detained by the police for terroristic threats at school. We hope we don't have to recommend him to anyone we know and yet I highly recommend him to anyone reading this post. I write this with the sincerest gratitude for his work in making us comfortable and getting the best outcome for our child. From beginning to end everything was completed in 2 months.
