Her firm filled out paperwork wrong, told me she filed the paperwork in February but really didn’t until April. She didn’t respond to a 15 day letter from yeh courts. I had to call my self and go down and fix her mistakes my self and pay for it. She didn’t answer any of my questions and wouldn’t resp...ond to my emails. It took 2 months to get any answers. I had to fire her. So if you don’t like dropping money on someone who doesn’t pay attention to your case and is to busy for your then avoid hiring her. Her paralegal is also very unprofessional as well.

Mrs Brenner was a Tremendous help with my criminal matter! Before I came across Mrs Brenner I felt like there was no help in sight for my case I also Had a prior attorney who pretty much told me there was nothing he could do for me. Mrs Brenner came to my aid she was helpful and cared about my case ...she negotiated with the District Attorney of hall county and was able to get 3 felony charges I had looming over my head dropped down to a misdemeanor… I went from a plea deal of 13 years in prison to 12 months of probation with no felony charges because of Mrs Brenner hard work and dedication she cared about my case and my freedom!!! She is highly recommended and is my first reference when anyone is looking for an attorney for family or criminal matters !! Thank you Mrs Brenner for all your hard work and dedication !!!

Not a good experience with this lawyer. After one year, nothing had been done, not even the discovery! She did same day cancellations for important dates without notice to me. (30 day hearing, mediation) I had to repeatedly request my billing summary over the course of 10 months, which I never receiv...ed until a few days after I terminated our attorney client relationship. She did return calls, messages, email or text. And when she or her assistant Teresa would, it was always some very vague & cookie cutter response, always never answering the question inquired. She is not proactive in providing the status and setting expectations of what to expect next. After going to another attorney, I see that absolutely nothing was done or discovered with my time with Emily. There’s way more to say but my first review was unapproved because of what I was accusing her of. So I’ll say this, don’t hire this lawyer, I don’t believe the other reviews to be true. This lady gave me advice & told me that if I ever repeated she would deny. That was the first red flag, I missed.
