Ms. Brenner is a sexist peace of work. She did not work for me she worked for the opposing party completely dooming my custody hearing. She refused to file any of my evidence claiming it wasn’t good enough. Refused to get back to any of my messages and talk to me like I was a little boy, because of h...er I only get to see my daughter twice a year. I have already filed complaints against her and I encourage any man seeking lawful attendance not go anywhere near this firm or this one she is a disgrace to the license.

I hired Emily for interstate custodial interference and contempt. Emily seemed initially supportive and empathetic and accepted my case. After sending the required documentation she just stalled. She kept requesting I add following contempt evidence but never filed any action. I sent her a copy of... GA bar rules against such stalling and she quickly responded she wasn’t, courts were on a holding pattern, she’d check back in. She even asked about filing an additional stalking protective order as the other party had escalated to such behavior. I said yes. She did not, so I asked for tangible work efforts for my review or my money back. After 9 months she could provide nothing tangible and apologetically refunded the retainer. No referral to another attorney, no explanation why no actual work was done. Rhetoric is powerful and this woman is a master in civil manipulation and exploitation. I am now seeking personal injury charges for her negligence and had to find new veteran friendly attorney for the case she was originally hired to litigate. Thank God there are people who really care about veterans being exploited by individuals and professionals. After reading several positive reviews I believe the difference between her positive and negative impact on clients is based on financial leverage. If you can’t bribe her to do the work she’ll waste your time, energy and run the clock on applicable statute of limitations. NOT A DISABLED VETERAN FRIENDLY SERVICE PROVIDER.

She destroyed my custody case. She didn’t request any financial documentation from the opposing party during discovery . (The only evidence my new lawyer has is a single paystub.) She is terrible with returning calls. She didn’t even have my correct phone number despite providing it several times wh...en requesting a callback. I wasn’t able to attend a zoom meeting hearing because she provided me 12 digit Zoom ID. Zoom meet up IDs are only 10 or 11 digits long. It’s hard for any judge to take me seriously as a Dad because of it. I highly recommend you search for another attorney but if you choose her do not ignore the red flags.
