Wasted Time and Money
I hired Mike for a Child Support modification. After $2000 and 6 months we still had no court date and for 2 months he would not respond to emails or phone calls. I finally called the office to get the remainder of the retainer back and still never heard anything from him. Highly disappointed that...
Unfortunately, not every case goes as planned and not every client is satisfied with his/her results. That can be further complicated when clients have expectations which are not in line with the available legal remedies in his/her case. I strive to do the best I can but it doesn't always work out. I generally receive high marks for my responsiveness, but sometimes things fall through the cracks. Still, I strive for perfection, or as close to it, with each and every one of my cases, and I am disappointed that I could not secure a better result for this client.
"I recently worked with Michael to resolve a divorce case that involved a relatively substantial amount of assets. Many, many attorneys would have engaged in protracted litigation in order to justify charging the client a substantial amount of attorney fees, but he and I both had a pretty good idea of what would happen if this case went to court. We negotiated diligently to get it settled. Clients often hire divorce attorneys based on their courtroom reputation, but In my opinion honesty and common sense are the most important attributes of a good divorce attorney. Michael prepared an exceptional settlement agreement. It was extremely thorough. Our clients should never have any questions about their rights and obligations moving forward. I’m sure Michael is a good litigator, but he recognized what was best for his client and did the right thing. It was a pleasure to work with him."
"Mike is a very sharp lawyer. He is a procedural guru and works very hard to obtain the best results for his client. He is an excellent landlord/tenant lawyer, but he is also one of the best divorce attorneys in the greater metro area. I would trust Mike with any legal matter I have."
"I endorse this lawyer with no reservation. An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community. Very hardworking and diligent. Consistently achieves superior results. Advice is always practical and on point. I recommend to anyone looking for an attorney who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of clients and achieving the most favorable result possible."
"Mike Dunham is, and I am being very serious now, the one lawyer my wife and I argue about regarding any future "divorce" actions (we are happily married and I should get him since I met him first.) I have worked with and for Mike, and his clients, and it is easy for me to simply say that he is a superior advocate for clients when compared to other legal service providers. He is kind, caring, intelligent and, most importantly, Mike does not back down when he is in the right. I have witnessed him battle better funded and more experienced opponents numerous times, only to be invited over by his family to celebrate victory. Mike is a spiritual, family man, who counts every day as a blessing to be shared, while his "Eagle Scout" mentality shines brilliantly in his daily work."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Mike is an excellent attorney who genuinely cares for each of his clients and their individual needs. He is caring, intelligent, and dedicated. A client can ask for nothing more and should expect nothing less."
