I met attorney Rebecca McLaws several years ago when I needed an attorney for a step-parent adoption case. Since then I have used her for several cases. She is a thorough no nonsense attorney who knows her areas of practice well! If you need an attorney that will not manipulate and will give you stra...ight answers she is the one to call. She has handled the step-parent adoption case, a personal injury case and most recently a child support modification case for me. She has done a great job with all of these at reasonable rates! I highly recommend her practice.

Rebecca handled my legitimation case like a true professional! It was a long hard road but she fought for my rights until the very end and we come out victorious! We are like family now!! By way of a summary of the case that The McLaws Law Group handled on my behalf: After my mother and the Guardian Ad Litem she hired both convinced a family court judge in Fulton County, ex parte, that my daughter should be taken from me and given over to my mother, I was in a position to have to de...fend myself against what can only be described as bold faced lies and normal day-to-day parenting decisions. Being an attorney myself, I understand that it is not only about knowing the law inside and out, but also being very strategic when applying such laws. I hired Ms McLaws for my divorce. I never once received a bill or statement of charges against my retainer. It has been 3 months since my divorce was final and I still do not have my divorce decree or any type of bill showing monies owed back to me from my retainer as I know she did not work all th...ose hours. I have called the office four to five times with no call back, I have called her personally asking why I can't be treated with respect -all I want is a copy of my bill,and then I called and said I have no choice but to call the State Board to file a complaint-I guess she doesn't care because still no word. I would not recommend hiring Rebecca.
