Damon and his team were very responsive to my needs. I was involved with a divorce action that drug out when my spouse left the state and was non responsive. Damon filed for a court date, we then reviewed our evidence and testimony and had a quick hearing. I met Damon late in my case and when I was very frustraited with my previous attorney and the court system. I told Damon what my goals were for the case and he told me what we had to do to achive that outcome in a very straight forward proffesional mannor. Damon was the second lawyer on my case. Although his hourly rate was 50 dollars per hour higher than my prior lawyer, his fair and ethical philosophy regarding billing caused me to spend less with him than my previous representative, relative to the amount of work that was performed. He took my ...horrifically disorganized case file and within 30 days turned the tide. He may be young, but he is by no means inexperienced. He told me that, in the face or extremely crazy allegations and contentions from my ex's side, if I would stay the course and do what was right, that we would prevail. Although it was quite challenging to do that, I did. And we did prevail, all without using one "nasty" tactic, telling one lie, or doing anything to compromise anyone's moral position. In addition, all of this was in the face of me having made some critical and necessary business decisions that appeared to be, but actually were not, tactics to limit my property liability and lower my net worth. So, that being said, Damon and his associates are the right firm to represent you IF you aren't trying to take anyone for a ride. I imagine if you are divorcing a somewhat reasonable person, you could knock it out collaboratively and move on with your life, but don't misunderstand his marketing...he is perfectly prepared to deal with a nasty, dirty case full of immoral people who's only agenda is personal encroachment or spite and still prevail. I rated a 4 on kept me informed because of some minor communication issues early in. These were easily resolved; do not be afraid to communicate your needs to him. To be well rounded, if Damon has a weakness, it is his tendency to think out loud and his enthusiasm to answer a question immediately. I would recommend that you allow him time to consider any questions that you ask rather than take the immediate answer. Every single decision that we made was right, but the strategies that we ultimately adopted were often quite different from the initial ideas we had when discussing them. This was no problem for me, tractable is my middle name, but it caused my girlfriend, who was collaborating from the sidelines, a good deal of consternation, and so I bring it up to make your experience better. So, in short, if you believe in any of the following ethics: recycling, yoga, meditation, peace, harmony, or love, there is a strong chance that Damon or one of his associates would be a good choice to represent you. With any luck, your situation is nowhere near as bad as mine. As a post script, let me note that my wife spent $65,000 in attorneys fees, I spent less than half of that, and we "won", as much as anyone can in a divorce case.
