Muneer Awad started his legal career in Oklahoma where he answered his life’s calling to defend the people, and fight the State. He successfully filed a lawsuit there to block the implementation of a constitutional amendment that would have discriminated against people of faith, jeopardized the rights of parents and their adopted children, and nullified all international business contracts.

After his success in Oklahoma, Muneer worked in New York, NY and Augusta, GA where he fought against abusive policing and prosecutions, and defended people trapped in the criminal court system. He has an impressive track record defending against serious felonies including murder, rape, and child molestations. He also had the benefit of working at the Public Defenders Office where he handled every type of criminal case at every phase of the criminal court process.

Muneer has worked throughout the State of Georgia and is honored to call Marietta his childhood hometown, and the city where he received his greatest honor—Marietta High School Blue Devils Coaches’ Award for Offensive Player of the Year in 2001. However, Muneer will be the first person to tell you that the relationships he has built with other attorneys or judges comes second to the relationship he builds with his clients. The best Cobb has

An amazing lawyer that cleared my name. He wouldn’t settle on the plea they gave me instead fought for my justice. Getting me the dismissal he said I deserved. Very nice and communicated with me throughout the whole process so I was never left in the dark. Would absolutely recommend him for your case.

Bad Probation Officer

I was jailed for violating probation and they wanted me to do 6 months. At my first court date the judge said 6 months is the least she would judge me. I was losing everything in jail. My joba nd my home. My family called Mr. Awad and he got to work asap. He got me a court date. Had my probation officer on board and the prosecutor on board and he told the judge why she needed to release me and it worked. This man saved my job and my home and my kids and months of my liberty.

When the Going Gets Tough, This is the Only Lawyer to Trust

My husband and I hired Muneer Awad to represent our son who had been fighting a felony charge with the state over several years. We were referred to Muneer by a friend after other attorneys completely failed him and one actually worked against him. With very little time before he had to go to trial, and having had horrible experiences with other attorneys, it was hard to trust anyone. Muneer took his complicated case even when there was little time before appearing in court, and was able to get extra time to start working toward a better outcome than what had been presented. Muneer had tremendous experience, presented creative solutions, didn't leave any stone unturned and worked very diligently toward a resolution. If Muneer said he was going to do something, he did it, and he kept us in the loop always. Not only is he a good lawyer who knows all the variables and people in the county & state legal system, he's got great character and has the utmost integrity. Our son had not been in trouble with the law before, so was extremely scared and had crippling anxiety, so that made his case super challenging. In the end, Muneer negotiated the best possible outcome, and we are SO happy we found him. He is the only attorney in his specialty I would ever trust or refer others to.

Amazing and Honest Lawyer!!

My son made some very bad decisions and was also in a county known to be difficult to deal with. Speeding Ticket

Got a ticket and the case was handled in 4 weeks. Did not have to show up to court nor his office. As a student, this was going to look really bad on my record, but it was handled without me getting any points on my record. I highly recommend Mr. Awad. You can't go wrong.

Everything DISMISSED

I got my first super speeder ticket and originally had to pay $453, it would have been reported on my driving record, my insurance would increase, and my license would be suspended for 6 months. After explaining my situation to Muneer, he was able to negotiate with my prosecutor and reduced the price to only $83, 20 hours of community service, a completion of a court-ordered driving course, and no license suspension. I was honestly amazed at how well he was able to negotiate everything and reduce the damage as much as he did!!! I did everything I was supposed to before my next court date, but then it got rescheduled because of corona. He spoke with my prosecutor AGAIN to avoid having to return to court as long as we signed off on an agreement swearing that I completed everything I was told to do. So I ended up with an even BETTER outcome which was: super speeder dismissed, speeding reduced, not reported on my driving record, not reported on my insurance, license suspension avoided, court appearance avoided, and NO FEES OR FINES!!! He was able to make it seem like nothing ever happened!! I would highly recommend hiring Muneer because it shows that he truly cares about his clients and goes out of his way to give them the best possible outcome there is!

The lawyer that fights for you

I’m not sure where to start. Mr. Awad was the 2nd attorney I had hired the other one was not so useful. I called Awad office he answered gave me all the time I needed to explain my situation, he advised me and gave me some sort of hope. I spoke with a few other attorneys but ended up back at Awad because he listened to me the other ones gave me 10 mins and then started talking money. I did hire Awad Legal Team. At every court notice he was there I didn’t have to go nor speak. He was very professional, always got me to answers I needed, he knew I was stressed and worried it’s like he took on my stress and worry for me not only at times was he my lawyer but he was my therapist he even assisted in helping me locate the help I needed to get pass what had happen. The day of court my heart was beating out my chest I saw Mr. Awad who then advised me I got your case dismissed I almost cried. Thank You Mr. Awad

I’m a new home owner to Marietta. Similar to the home improvement shows on TV, I hired several contractors for multiple projects. Unlike the home improvement shows on TV, a contractor, demanding more money, took me to court. In addition, put a lien on my home. I went to my new neighbor and asked for advice. He referred me to Attorney Muneer Awad. Told me that Mr. Awad grew up in Marietta and has an office on the Square. My neighbor said that Mr. Awad had represented him in the past and is a wonderful lawyer. After meeting Mr. Awad, I knew instantly that I wanted him to represent me. He made it seem as if I was his only client, spending time to go over my case, reviewing all the details. During the trial, Mr. Awad pointed out discrepancies in the contractors statement, showed that the contractor amended our agreement without my input (adding $1200 to the contractors bill), and discovered that the contractor submitted a faulty lien on my home. It didn’t take long for the court to rule in our favor! No additional money was awarded to the contractor and the lien on my home removed! I’m sure everyone is familiar with the stresses and costs of moving and renovating a home. The last thing you need is the stress of going to court. What a relief it was to have Mr. Awad represent me. I’m in agreement with my neighbor... a wonderful lawyer!

Great work

Mr.Awad helped me with my messy situation. He was very straightforward from day one. He worked on my case for about 5 months and never once did I feel he lost interest or forgot about it. He stayed in contact with me and went to court fighting for my right as a homeowner. Thanks to his work I now have my house back all to myself! I didn’t realize how hard it would be to evict someone who isn’t even paying rent! Mr.Awad made this process as easy as it could be for me.

Saved me from Failing to Appear

I called Mr. Awad on a Friday about court on a Monday and he was there. He got me out of my missed court date and helped me avoid serious points to my drivers license while also convincing the prosecutor to not make me pay any fines. He is serious about court, but he's super chill to talk to. He never judged me for missing courtdates or the multiple car accidents I caused lol.

Best decision in my life

Ive been with Mr. Awad twice. For my traffick ticket he wouldnt take money from me and told me how to handle my case by myself and it worked. He gave me the confidence to go in there and get my ticket dismissed. I felt like I was My Cousin Vinny lol! This last time I needed him and he has been amazing. ive had other lawyers byt Mr. Awad is special. Just knowing hes there when I call makes me calm and assured everythings going better than I even deserve. I dont know how but he already has an offer for my felony to be dismissed and hes still working on the case. HE IS THE MAN!
