Calm and thorough in the face of my panic

Excellent Family Lawyer

Diane Cherry is an excellent attorney. She guided me through the legal process with a direct, but kind approach. She comes extremely prepared and provides direction on how you can cut down on your costs, which is very different from other lawyers. She is very responsive to any and all needs. Excellent Family Law Attorney

Diane Cherry is no doubt the brightest and best family law attorney in Marietta and the surrounding areas. I was referred to her team by a friend who had used her previously, and she exceeded my expectations. I was so nervous to go to our first meeting as I had never needed an attorney for any purp...oses other than taxes and estate planning, but her and her team immediately put me at ease. Her knowledge of how to handle my divorce was outstanding. She is extremely prompt in returning phone calls and emails. She is beyond prepared. I would highly recommend her for any area of Family Law.

Divorce and Child Custody

Diane and her team are exemplary. They were there to answer the questions I had about these devastating life changes and they worked to get me the best outcome for myself and my daughter. Divorce can leave you in a mess of emotions and confusion, but the Cherry Law firm is there to make it go as ...smoothly as possible. Your self-confidence will increase when you have them on your side. Child Custody can be frightening. The possibility of unjustly losing your child to a spouse or partner that isn’t playing fairly can really rattle your life to the core. Diane was my rock through this process and she kept a watchful eye on every letter printed on our custody agreements and made sure I was not bullied by my ex or didn’t get less than what was rightfully mine.

Did a lousy job, charges astronomical fees-Would never recomm

Hired her based on her reviews. Boy, was I wrong! Charges a TON of money for very little work. What a rip off! Never had my best interest, there are much better lawyers out there! Be prepared for legal fees that are astronomical! Totally indifferent and uncaring. It's all about how many hours ...she can bill. A $5000 retainer is just the beginning. Totally dissatisfied. I would never recommend her. Make sure you talk to your friends and associates before you hire a lawyer based on reviews. I sure wish I had!

We are very sorry you were less than pleased with the outcome of your case. We work closely with our clients to settle cases whenever possible. Despite our best efforts, not all cases can be settled quickly. In some instances, the issues are hotly contested and no matter what we do, the parties may be unable to reach agreement. Divorce can be very costly and custody battles are often the most expensive family law cases to litigate and leave both parties with a less than perfect outcome. We try our best to counsel clients to be mindful of the costs of litigation and the risks involved when a judge is deciding your case. We appreciate your input and apologize if we fell short of the mark in your case. We constantly strive for improvement and hope to do better in the future.
