I hired this attorney to represent me with in a divorce. Things became difficult and the venue of my case changed to another state shortly after she was hired. I was told that due to my extenuating circumstances she would try and refund me some of my retainer but this never happened. I called her ...office several time to discuss this but was never able to get in touch with her and was told be her receptionist that she would relay the messages but none of my calls were ever returned. I understand that retainers are typically non-refundable but I would have appreciated at least a phone call or email to tell me whether or not she would or would not do a partial refund instead of being left in the dark.
