When a mother hears the words life without the possibility of parole your heart sinks and the tears begin to flow. A lot of times and I do mean a lot of times a public defender gets a bad rep for not caring for the client and not doing their best to make sure the defendant gets a fair and honest verd...ict. This is NOT the case with Mr. Scott Drake. Not only did he and Mr Pat work their hardest to ensure justice was severed they tolerated a mother who got on their nerves about her baby boy. Mr Drake told me how he could not have imagined working on this case without Mr Pat’s knowledge and help because it was heartbreaking in so many ways. The two of them cared how my son appeared in court and how even took time to make sure my son knew how much he was loved and supported even when he was not able to see his family. When I tell you how down to earth the two of them are as well as funny and straightforward it was a breath of fresh air. I didn’t understand a lot of the legal stuff but when I needed it explained in lament terms they did just that so I would really understand what was going on. Now they didn’t sugar coat anything with me and let me know it was going to be a hard fight but the fact that they didn’t give up and gave me their undivided attention was what I needed to get through this process. I don’t know about anyone else but loyalty is a big thing for me and my family I don’t care if it’s a traffic ticket I’m recommending Scott Drake and Mr Pat to anyone that may need assistance. From the bottom of my heart and from my son’s HIp Hop thank you for not giving up.
