A father figure who cares for his client
For conflict divorce, I recommend Atty Dough. He treated me like his own daughter. He creates balance in and out the court room. From the start, he told me to be open, realistic and stay calm. He focused on the most important issues despite the struggles in the opposition. A father figure who care...
Thank you for the kind words - and moreover, for trusting us with the most important things in your life, those amazing children. I'm (almost) as happy as you are with the result of the case - thank YOU for all the time, patience, work and trust.

Do nothing attorney
I used the Siemon law firm and it was a huge mistake! I would give them Zero stars if I could. I gave Doug Hassinger $7,000 cash and he said that he would put it in an escrow account. And he was billing me $350 an hour. $3,500 was to deal with a TDO my wife put against me and another $3,500 to...
I'm not one to engage in this type of forum, but it would appear that you are leaving out vital details, and intentionally giving the wrong impression. To be accurate and clear: - You have been provided with detailed billing statements, and asked multiple times if there appears to be an error, and you refuse to communicate in a productive manner. - There were two TPO matters (one with an Ex Parte Order, and one without), One Administrative action, AND the divorce action. To summarize the situation more accurately: - Three (3) Court cases against you, - One (1) Administrative action against you - Five (5) days to prepare for hearings - Ninety-three (93) text messages with you - Sixty-Seven (67) emails with you and opposing counsels - Two (2) opposing attorneys against you - One (1) Court appearance on your behalf - Four (4) wins for you. - and all within Three (3) weeks. Finally, - I cannot imagine that opposing counsel would accept payment from you or otherwise communicate with you in any manner during our representation of you, as that would be a violation of ethical rules.

Bad experience.
I retained Doug to handle my divorce. He did not keep me informed appropriately, at times it took weeks for him to respond. He had to reschedule court dates multiple times due to being overloaded with cases.

Douglas Hassinger, as my attorney
Mr. Hassinger has helped me with multiple legal issues over the last ten years. I hired him to represent me for a divorce, involving child custody, visitation, and support. The second was a parental rights case, which was very difficult on many personal levels. Mr. Hassinger was very professional and...

Amazing litigator
I was very grateful to have Mr. Hassinger represent me in my divorce last year. My ex, who is an attorney, was pretty intimidating when it came to negotiating child support and alimony, even though it wasn't me who was unfaithful in the marriage. Mr. Hassinger is very competent and a confident nego...
"I endorse this lawyer. Doug is an overall great attorney. His devotion to the practice of law is not only seen by his clients, but also his fellow attorneys (whether co-workers or opposing counsel). He is creative and driven to provide the best possible representation."
"Douglas Hassinger is an excellent attorney. Anyone looking for a family law attorney would be fortunate to have Douglas on their side."
"Doug worked with my firm when he began his practice and I have had the opportunity to work on both sides of the table with him since he began his own practice. I have found Doug to be innovative, adept and knowledgeable. Doug has great skill at solving problems instead of perpetuating them. He provides his client with solutions in cases with hard issues and significant life-changing impact. His talents are a credit to the profession."
"Doug is a colleague in the family bar and has been a good friend for nearly a decade. In the family bar in particular, I find there are many lawyers who are overzealous to a fault, who seem to have a total inability to see the other side and understand his/her motivations, perspectives, and wants. While I'm sure it makes the client happy to know s/he has a "pit bull" on his/her side, in reality the client is not getting good service from that lawyer, and is likely to spend more money than s/he should have to spend. Doug is different, which is a rarity in the family bar. To date, I have been fortunate enough not to face Doug in a case, as I know he is a tenacious, capable litigator. But the reason Doug is great at what he does is his ability to be reasonable first, brutally honest with his clients, and adversarial only as a last resort. I would have every confidence in Doug as my lawyer that I am getting the best value for my litigation dollar. He has my highest recommendation."
