Katherine L. Jackson joined McAleer Law in 2013 as a civil litigation attorney, focusing on personal injury and worker’s compensation clients.
Ms. Jackson was a licensed claims adjuster for one of the top 5 insurance carriers in the United States before earning her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University. After graduating, she took what she had learned from her years working inside the insurance industry and now utilizes it to fight for the rights of injury victims. Ms. Jackson understands the intricacies of complex insurance coverage and uses this knowledge to obtain the best possible results for her injured clients.
Since graduating from law school in 2011, Ms. Jackson has recovered over half a million dollars in settlements for her clients.
She has a passion for getting justice for her clients. She is a certified domestic violence and sexual abuse advocate in the state of Florida and also a former Georgia Prosecuting Attorney’s Council Graduate Intern at the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Jackson enjoys being involved in the community. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyer’s Division, the Auburn Alumni Association (lifetime member) and Delta Gamma sorority.
Ms. Jackson graduated in the top 13% of her class from Auburn University, magna cum laude. She attends Buckhead Church, is an avid football fan, and currently resides in Buckhead with her husband and their dog.
