Megan Murren Pearson

Working as a lawyer gives me immense joy and satisfaction. I enjoy listening to my clients and working with them to resolve whatever issues they are facing. I have had the opportunity to meet incredible people with incredible life experiences through this career. I have also had the blessing of seeing how truly resilent people can be. I sincerely love what I do. So much in fact, during the school year I also coach a high school mock trial team because I want to recruit other young people to this noble and fulfilling profession. I am also involved with the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia as the Chairperson of the Litigation Committee. Additionally, I have recently been appointed to the Committee on Attorney Wellness as well as the Non-Resident Member Section of the Alabama State Bar. 

In addition to being an attorney, I also race in triathlons. After competing in several sprint and olympic distance triathlons, I recently completed my first Ironman 70.3 in Florida. Bike is the most challenging part of triathlon for me, so it's where I work the hardest to improve. I enjoy all manner of outdoor activites (with the exception of camping, I am much more of a "glamping" kind of girl). Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because I love to eat and sit around the table with my family rehashing the same stories we've told and heard a hundred times. I'm on a quest to read a biography on every American president. I love history and believe there is so much to be learned by seeing what is in the past.
