Georgia graduated Top Ten Percent/Honors at Emory University College of Law. Her extensive experience as an attorney includes both a track record of success in difficult, high stakes litigation and over 6 years’ experience as a staff attorney inside Fulton County’s Family Court. She regularly provides professional training for family lawyers and Judges. She was born and raised in metro Atlanta.
Georgia is proud to offer both Collaborative and Conventional Family Law Services to both traditional and nontraditional families. She has not only assisted numerous parents with custody claims arising from same-sex relationships but has also instructed lawyers and Judges on the legal principles governing this rapidly changing area of the law.
Georgia offers her clients not only her hard and skillful work but also an invitation to focus more on laying a foundation for a good future than on escalating the battle of the moment. Georgia understands how difficult family litigation can be. She realizes that issues crucial to her client's future happiness may be hanging in the balance. She keeps her clients informed, forthrightly acknowledging any uncertainties. She listens to her clients with care and treats them with dignity.
In 2018 Georgia was selected by the AJC as its "Best of Atlanta" Collaborative Divorce and Family Law Attorney. Georgia was admitted to the United State Supreme Court Bar Association in 2015. On that occasion, she enjoyed chatting with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
