Friendly & Honest

I hired Mr. Merritt to help after i was involved in a car accident and was unhappy with the Insurance claim I received. Thankfully Alex & his team helped me recoup my loss. I would highly recommend his practice.

With pleasure I write this review for Mr. Alex Merritt, Partner, DeWoskin Law Firm, LLC. Mr. Merritt provided competent, efficient and responsive legal advice and service for the positive resolution and outcome of my case. Should I need legal services in the future (which I hope will not be necessa...ry), Mr. Merritt would be my “first call” – as I know that he would, again, provide expert legal representation.

Dedicated and persuasive

Alex Merritt has recent experience as an ADA in Dekalb County, so he knows how that system works and what point of view an ADA for Dekalb County will have. He is persistent and persuasive. He got all my charges dropped without a hearing within a month of hiring him, when my previous attorney did not ...get that done in the 3 months I had him. He also will not make promises he cannot keep, unlike many criminal defense attorneys.

Superb Case Management

Even though my charges weren't to severe, I wanted to ensure the best outcome. It took a few years for everything to materialize in the court system, and from start to finish Alex presented me with all the angles and options, and allowed me to arrive at the best outcome. Actually, the outcome turne...d out to be even better than the good deal that was on the table. So, well done sir, well done. Prices reasonable as well.

Expectations well exceeded

Could not have hand picked a better person and staff to represent me, being from out of state I am so thankful to have been recommended Alex, he was so understanding and relatable from the very first conversation, I felt completely confident in letting him handle a situation that was way beyond me, a...nd I could not be happier with the outcome. Knowledgeable, professional, timely and eager to help are just a few words to describe him. And although we met under unfortunate circumstances I never once felt like a lesser person and I’m very thankful to have someone so great on my side..
