He took all the information of the case, walked through it carefully, methodically, and thoroughly to paint a picture of the severe abuse that the opposing side had committed, as well as the fact that the Guardian ad Litem had not done their job righ...t, had not shown up at critical times, had clear biases, etc. The tone in the courtroom was changing right before my eyes as he clearly demonstrated what was in the best interest of the children. He ended up getting the opposing counsel to settle over the lunch break, as their side would no doubt have continued to look worse and worse if the rest of the afternoon's examination and cross-examination had continued.
