Attorney Hicks has helped me on two occasions both involving traffic violations. Attorney Hicks had one traffic violation dismissed and the other violation's fee lowered with out any points added to my driving record. I found Mr. Hicks via a referral from a friend. He came highly recommended and by the end of our initial consult I was very glad I made the call. I live in Houston but visited friends for a weekend in Atlanta. Driving back, state troopers pulled me over and slapped a hefty $300.00 fine on me for spee...ding. Here begins my dilemma. I got back home and started biting my nails because I have a perfect driving record and wanted it to stay that way. Besides, I didn't want to have to fly back to GA to handle a speeding ticket. Furthermore, I didn't want to hire an attorney. Researched the county law on first time offenders and found them to be pretty strict. So as I shared my sob story with a friend of mine, he volunteered Mr. Hicks' information and told me to call him ASAP. Called and by the next week he had information for me. He did mention that Coweeta County was not cooperative with me being set up on a diversionary program plus they were giving him a hard time getting back to him. The next time I spoke with him, he told me he had to drive an hour to the court to speak with the solicitor who told him a solid no on the diversion. So alas, I had to buy a ticket and fly out. However, I am very pleased to say that we got to court and the diversion was awarded. I actually heard the solicitor ask if I'm paying for Mr. Hicks' service since he was so diligent and went above and beyond to ensure I got my diversion. By the way, he only charged me a very reasonable fee of $100.00. Came back home to Houston, did my driver's ed and ticket dismissed. Perfect driving record upheld!
