Our family hired Atty Hicks to represent our son in a drug case. He is the most knowledgeable, profession, well connected and experienced Atty that Georgia has! My husband and I hired Mr. Hicks back in 2017 after our first lawyer refused to fight on my husbands behalf and tried to make my husband take a plea deal. When we got with Mr. Hicks, he gave us the run down on what should have happened and assured us that he was working for us no matter what. I recommend Mr. Hicks for any situation. I hired Mr. Hicks last year around Nov. 2016 and just now finishing my case Oct. 2017. He stood by my side through the whole ride. There was times during the case where my background came back to haunt me. Mr. Hicks didn't give up on trying to get the best out...come for me he fought all the way to the end. Everybody's case is different but like i said I recommend Mr. Hicks for any situation he will fight for you!!!

I was charged with a DUI after being involved in an auto accident. Thankfully no one was injured, but the vehicle was totaled and there was public property damage; and because I refused any sobriety tests I was arrested for the first time of my life. After speaking with a few attorneys I decided to g...o with Mr. Hicks. He worked very efficiently answering any questions I had during the process. I had no idea how this process went but he listened and was always ready with his advice and made me feel my best interests were a priority. The DUI charge was successfully reduced to a reckless driving. My family and I will forever be grateful for the amazing job Mr. Hicks did. I will always be thankful for that!

I usually don’t write reviews for services I have received. I just take my money someplace else. In this case, I had no experience hiring an attorney. I did a google search and called Hicks Law Firm. My decision to use Hicks was a BIG mistake. From the first time we met in person I felt as though I w...as being prosecuted. I didn’t get the impression that he believed me or understood my case even though I provided supporting documentation. As time move on little activity between us took place between us. As the initial court date arrived Hicks had some other arrangements and couldn’t make the court date, no problem. When the next date approached Hick tried to convince me to take a plea. The only problem was I needed a defender, not a deal maker. Hick provided little insight and was not confident about the facts in my case when going forward in court. When I consulted with Hicks prior to hiring him, he appeared acknowledgeable and eager to represent me in court. Hicks came off very nonchalant, combative and showed very low interest in my legal case as my second court date approached. That’s when my red flag went up and I came to the realization that I can’t use this man. I don’t think he has trial experience as an attorney. And for the record, if you have a serious case pending find a TEAM of lawyers that will advocate for you and not make you feel like you’re guilty before you’ve had your day in court. My freedom and life is too important to trust someone who has shown little interest in my case. For the record, I would not recommend this lawyer. I pissed away thousands and lost valuable time screwing with this guy.
