Driving through a small SC town that is apparently notorious for the speed limit dropping from 55 to 35, I was cruising through at 53mph. I was pulled over and ticketed for 53 in the 35, and encouraged to go online and pay the ticket. If I had gone ahead and paid the $200+ fine, I would have received... a license suspension from NCDOT for a violation of more than 15 over, not to mention 4 points. I searched and found the site for Attorneys Nosal & Jeter, and contacted them the same day. I received an email from their office, provided the information and the retainer payment, and they told me I would hear back from them regarding the disposition after my scheduled court date. The day after my court date, I received word that Attorney Nosal was able to successfully negotiate my ticket down to Failure to produce registration (which is also true, I couldn't find the little piece of paper, but the vehicle was registered), which was a higher fine but had no points and was not a moving violation. The process was very easy, and made a stressful situation less so. The fee was reasonable, particularly compared to what my insurance would have gone up with 4 points on my license. I highly recommend Nosal & Jeter for any moving violation issues you may incur - and also recommend you pay very close attention to how quickly the speed limit can change in small South Carolina towns.
