Freddy Woods is an accomplished attorney with extensive courtroom experience in civil and criminal litigation. He has successfully handled high-value cases and has worked with firms in South Carolina, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta on complex legal matters. His career began as a CBCF Fellow to Congressman James Clyburn, followed by a clerkship with the Honorable Donald Beatty of the South Carolina Supreme Court. He later practiced with Lowery, Thompson, and King before expanding his work into broader litigation and business law.
Mr. Woods is deeply involved in public service, representing children in the juvenile justice system pro bono. He is passionate about providing young people with opportunities to succeed. He has served on multiple nonprofit boards and has been an executive board member and treasurer for an organization focused on affordable housing.
He is a regular media commentator on legal and political issues and has spoken at universities and colleges. An enthusiastic traveler, he has explored more than 42 countries and speaks English and Portuguese fluently, with conversational Spanish. The BEST in SC *Case was in York County S.C*
I will not go into extreme detail but Mr. Woods was contacted by my wife when I got into some trouble in 2019. Although it took 5yrs (from the courts not Mr. Woods) he was able to get 2 of the 3 felony charges dropped and only need to do 14 months probation (it was 18 months initially with 4 months ...
