In the patent sphere I assist in capturing organizational knowledge, managing intellectual property assets, and enforcing rights through licensing and sale. I have specialized experience in electrical and mechanical applications as well as computing software and hardware. Including deep knowledge of artificial intelligence and the respective subsets of machine learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and general logic and reasoning.

I routinely counsel advertising and marketing business units on usage and clearance of material and assist in protecting brand assets through trademarks and copyrights.

PRIVACY

As an IAPP certified Information privacy professional I work with all sizes of organizations and business teams in implementing and developing a privacy by design compliance program. I utilize my software engineering background to effectively communicate with technical teams and business leaders to establish a program that hedges risk and allows for maximum productivity. Effective policy drafting is the key to a structured approach and I have led many technology companies in developing policy initiatives that comply with the CCPA and the GDPR.
