I came to PMC for help dealing with a problematic heir in my mother’s estate I was managing and happy I did. They have the experience and commitment I needed to resolve the issue and get the estate closed. In my conversations with Tiffany Provance, she laid out all the options, offering her suggestions along the way, and that reassured me we could get this done quickly. Maureen Strusky then managed the activity that unfolded as they predicted. In a matter of a few weeks, I had the court order closing the case, ending my nightmare. I should have gone to them for estate planning in the first place. Experience matters and PMC has plenty of that.

After spending my first eleven years in public service as the Dorchester County Probate Judge, I decided to join my partner and open a local law firm to assist others in navigating their way through the judicial system. Over the last decade, our two person firm has grown to six attorneys and staff in two lowcountry locations. Our mission is to take a genuine interest in our clients, understand their objectives, and meet or exceed their expectations so that we can become their lifelong attorneys.

While our firm practices in several areas, my focus is on issues surrounding death including probate administration and litigation, wrongful death, and estate planning. I also enjoy mediating cases to help families resolve their disputes outside of the courtroom and get both legal and emotional closure to their issues.

Sound Logical Advice

I contacted her on behalf of my wife who is the personal representative of her father's estate. She answered my question very timely with a professional and logical advice. If we were in the Charleston area, I would advise my wife to retain her as the attorney for my father in laws's estate.

Incredibly helpful

Estate Planning

After receiving a cancer diagnosis in 2016, I contacted Provence Messervy to ensure my family was taken care of regardless of the overall outcome. As they say, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. They made it easy for us to understand and they were proactive, asking questions and providing solutions that provided immediate solace for me and my family. Expert guidance during a difficult time

Tiffany Provence handled my divorce several years ago. It was a very difficult time for me; I had a very young child and was so worried about custody issues. Tiffany handled me with complete patience and dignity. Any time I called with all my many worries and questions, she always responded with kindness. She got me a bulletproof agreement that put all my worries at ease. I returned to her firm several years later for another matter and once again received outstanding service. I would return to this firm again and again if I still lived in the state, and I would be lucky to find someone as good if I need them in the future.

Ms. Provence and her firm have assisted me in numerous personal and business transactions. Ms. Provence helped my sister and I in closing my mother's estate and dealing with a series of issues related to my father's aging and estate plan. Months later, she and her associate, Autumn Hazy, navigated me through updating and amending my child custody agreement to secure additional time with my son. During that process they identified and made some recommendations with my personal estate and business structures that have both saved me money and offered me peace of mind. I have enjoyed working with her firm and have always been very impressed with the service I receive. The Importance of Excellence

Ms. Provence represented me when I pursued Guardianship of my disabled adult son. Both she and her staff were ever so patient, answering questions and providing guidance from start to finish. Very helpful and knowledgeable!

Tiffany Provence consulted/advised me on a Domestic matter recently. Tiffany was extremely helpful in answering the specific questions and concerns I had in regards to slander/defamation of name. She was very professional and informative. I felt completely at ease discussing a personal and emotionally taxing situation with her. Professional service and excellent customer service

When I needed an attorney, I turned to Tiffany Provence at Provence/Messervy Attorneys at Law. They kept me informed of what was going on with my legal matter. They handled the manner in a timely and professional manner. They even dealt with my "drop ins" to the office with no appointment in a way that was calming to me. Customer service is excellent.
