I hired Ross to help me with a zoning issue where my neighbor was attempting to build a large structure with an apartment on our shared property line. There was a long and confusing set circumstances and appeals were made to the Charleston BZA-Z and the SC circuit court. Ross came up to speed quickly... on the facts of the case and was already familiar with the zoning laws involved and procedures surrounding the BZA-Z. He is friendly, intelligent, and incredibly passionate about zoning law and its powerful effect on people’s lives, people’s property, and the City of Charleston. The advice he gives is always intelligent and to the point. I never hesitate to ask him to explain anything as I know his answer will be direct and informed. In comparison to other lawyers I have worked with, Ross is faster to respond to questions, easier get in touch with, and overall easier to work with. He is well spoken, great at presentations, and knows how to tailor his message to his audience.
