Gregory Forman, a better than excellent lawyer!
Gregory Forman was the perfect lawyer for me. He is very knowledgeable in the area of child custody, child support and family law. Gregory has a style which I have never seen in a lawyer before. He doesn't waste your time or money. He keeps meetings to the point and gets right down to the matter....

Beware of the bad reviews
I hired Mr. Forman to represent me in a custody agreement. I read a lot of good reviews and some bad reviews that made me a bit nervous, but I thought you take the good with the bad. The bad reviews were accurate. He is rude and IMO over extended. He asked me to file the paperwork he prepared bec...
This client waited days with an urgent matter until he hired me, which required me to (successfully) seek an ex-parte order on his behalf on a Friday afternoon prior to a holiday weekend. My staff had the day off and I did not want to bill him to walk the paperwork to court. That’s the reason i asked him to take the paperwork to court. Doing so saved him $175. Further, we had limited time to serve the defendant. This could not be accomplished because of a court delay in getting me the paperwork and because the defendant was out of town. This client never informed me beforehand that service might be a problem. I then got the ex-parte order extended (again the client was kept informed of this). Yet he asked me to hold off on getting her served (against my advice) and returned his children to his allegedly unfit co-parent anyway. This action undermined his legal claim of parental unfitness. Moreover this client postponed an appointment (again against my advice) where he could have asked questions if he was confused about the status of his case. Everything in this client’s case was handled promptly and, until he decided to return the children to their mother, successfully. His emails were answered within hours, if not minutes. He never once asked me if he needed to return the children to their mother before he did so. He never once indicated he was confused about what was going on in his case. On two occasions he directed my legal actions (serving the defendant; postponing a meeting) against my advice. The blame he places on me is largely due to his waiting until the matter became urgent and then not giving the matter proper attention. When clients cancel appointments and don’t ask questions I cannot be responsible for their confusion.
"I endorse this lawyer. Greg's knowledge of law in this area is second to none. You will know very quickly where you stand in your family court matter when talking to him. He is a great choice for family court."
"Greg has assisted me in my own family court cases and I frequently ask him questions about practicing family law. He is one of the most knowledgeable family law attorneys in the state of South Carolina and I highly recommend him."
"Greg Forman is a walking encyclopedia of all things Family Law. He is a zealous advocate for his clients and gives each matter thoughtful consideration, with a creativity that continues to impress me. He devotes significant time to reading and writing about Family Law, which gives him an undeniable edge. Google his name and you'll find him in many reported opinions. HIs blog is a resource for both litigants and lawyers."
"Greg started as an adversary, when I was working for another attorney. Then, he became a friend. After that, a mentor. Not only is Greg one of the most intelligent family law practitioners in the state of South Carolina, he may be the single-most generous such practitioner when it comes to his time and expertise; Greg is doing more for young attorneys than I've seen any law school do. He is a fierce advocate, a fearsome adversary, a trusted colleague, a generous mentor, and a wonderful friend."
