First class attorney

I retained Mr. Forman to handle my divorce and custody of my daughter. From the very beginning Mr. Forman was attentive to all of the details of my case and handled everything in a professional manner. Mr. Forman has immense knowledge in family law and I was honored to have him represent me.

Best Lawyer in Charleston, SC

I hired Mr. Forman to modify my child support. Mr. Forman is the best lawyer I have ever had. I wish I would have know about him when I first filed for a divorce. Mr. Forman is very direct, to the point, and did not waste mine or my family's money. His knowledge of the law and service he provides i...s invaluable. I would highly recommend Gregory Forman to anyone that needs a family court lawyer, is going through a divorce, or has child support.

Divorce Lawyer

Mr. Forman assisted me in a very difficult divorce more than 10 years ago and helped me again 2 years ago when ex- spouse continued to stalk me. He has brought peace to my life after 30 years of turmoil. I would highly recommend Mr. Forman. He is very knowledgeable about family law and was easily c...ontacted when problems arose.

Helped me collect outstanding child support / arrears

Greg Forman represented me when I needed help collecting child support / arrears. He acted very professional and was extremely helpful in finalizing a settlement. He worked tirelessly throughout the proceedings and was always available to provide updates, answer questions and give advice. He quickly... gets down to business during all appointments, because he knows that his time is your money. His ability to out-maneuver and out-prepare the opposing counsel resulted in a legal victory for me and my two children, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a Family Law Attorney.

Family Law Attorney Review

I cannot say how grateful I am to have hired Greg to represent me!!! I can go on all day about how great he was as a lawyer, counsel, and someone I now feel I can call a friend, but I will keep it brief. When I started looking for a lawyer for my custody case I was looking for someone who was knowled...geable, empathetic, and determined to help me reach or exceed my goal of true 50/50 custody of my daughter. Being a guy and having little faith in the courts I felt my plea would never fully be heard. I contacted Greg on Super Bowl Sunday after having finely being fed up with my current situation with my daughter. Thinking he wouldn't respond until the next day, to my surprise he responded almost immediately to see what he could do to help, and thats a behavior that has never stopped. He was really the first lawyer I had contacted, but I knew if he had time to respond to me on a Sunday evening and Super Bowl Sunday at that, I knew I could depend on him to always be there for me like that. The rest is history basically. I got exactly what I was looking for plus more!! He is extremely knowledgeable in the law and always found ways to break it down in laments terms when I didn't understand all of the legal jargon. I explained to him what I was trying to accomplish and he did everything in his power to make sure my goal was accomplished. It was times when my plea to the courts to gain true 50/50 custody of my daughter looked very meek, but Greg counseled me in those times and assured me that we were going to get through this together and he was going to do everything in his power to make sure I got what I wanted. He told me things to do to keep my mind off of things and ways to stay sane during the madness. He always gave me the pros and cons of my wants and instructed me on the best course of action. It was not one time during my entire court case that I had to wait any longer than 5 mins to hear back from Greg when I contacted him about something. I can sit hear today and say without Greg's assistance I would not be able to sit here today saying that I now have true 50/50 custody of my daughter. He was also able to get me back a good portion of the money I had to spend for my custody case and GAL fees. If you want the best, hire the best! I am glad that I wasn't on the receiving end of having to go against Greg in court. He is a beast in the court room literally!! He made me want to be a lawyer after seeing how he rebutted things and defended me. I can truly say every dollar I spent was worth it because of his service. I would highly recommend Greg to anyone that is looking for the best lawyer in Charleston, SC!!

"Greg started as an adversary, when I was working for another attorney. Then, he became a friend. After that, a mentor. Not only is Greg one of the most intelligent family law practitioners in the state of South Carolina, he may be the single-most generous such practitioner when it comes to his time and expertise; Greg is doing more for young attorneys than I've seen any law school do. He is a fierce advocate, a fearsome adversary, a trusted colleague, a generous mentor, and a wonderful friend."
