Without a doubt I highly recommend Ashby. She is one of the most respected, compassionate, caring individuals that I have ever met. I had a horrible experience with another attorney in the area. I had to hire Ashby to clean up the mess and had learned so much from my consultation and she confirmed that I was working with someone who did not have the competency to have accepted my case. I had to hire Ashby to stop the bleeding f...inancially as well as get the job done that the other lawyer could not figure out how and what to do. Ashby was beyond reasonable in billing, never padded, and fair for the work completed. You will NOT pay her to learn the law. Beware of hiring a lawyer at a lower rate but they may not understand how critical strategy is and what needs to get done. Do NOT let a higher hourly fee turn you away as you will pay less in the long run for her to get the job done and get it done right. I have had many lawyers in dealing with the same situation and she is the ONLY one I can speak positively about. Not only is she fair in all these other areas but she communicates with you when you need her to and I mean on weekends! Yes Saturdays and Sundays. I pray to God I will never need her again but if I do she will be the only lawyer I ever use and recommend. How refreshing, how glorious, a lawyer that doesn't lie, that isn't a shark in a bad way and is fair in billing, with intelligence and competency to boot. Learn from my mistakes and make the right decision for the first time. Not only did she get the job done, it most likely will never return. I will continue to refer and sing praises as long as I can. In all fairness if things hadn't turned out the way I wanted, I could honestly still say she is a class act AND a lawyer! Ms. Ashby Jones is the BEST! She may be the most expensive attorney in the area but she knows her stuff. Her dogmatic disposition, tactful strategies, and superb promptness worked in my favor. She charges A LOT of money, but you get what you pay for. She is extremely good at what she does and she knows it. I wish I had hired her first instead of wasting money on an inferior divorce lawyer.
