Bruce took on my case a month before my trial date. He was very knowledgeable about my case. He always included me in the case and listen to what I had to say. I hired Mr Mason based on reviews on this website 6 months prior to my date in court. Called his office many times and asked if everything was okay and if they had any questions for me. I was always assured that everything was great and to not be late on my court date. Court came around and the what ...Bruce was representing me for I didn't even qualify for. On top of that the Judge asked for my conviction history and Bruce didn't even have that. Big waste of time and money for my family especially since my Mother flew down from Chicago for this. This happened over 3 weeks ago. I've called MASON & MASON twice since then, still Bruce is yet to call me back. Do not recommend, might as well try your luck with a court appointed attorney

My wife heard about Attorney Bruce A Mason from a friend at work . 19 yrs ago I was traveling from Tampa Fl to my new duty station in Camp Lejeune, 2 fleet 5 th Recon unit 2 Marines. I left the base from Tampa Fl at 1000 hrs and drove all day. Stopped for gas in Little River SC. Met a Air dell M...arine thumbing to Cherry Point, NC and asked if he had a drivers license and could drive us there. He said yes and took over driving. He was a PFC enlisted and I was a young Captain with a lot of combat in the 9 years of service . I went to sleep after driving all day . We stopped in the little town of Leland NC . Went to the head , got back in the front passenger seat and went back to sleep . I woke up around 0330 hrs hurting with a big knot on my head laying in the woods ! After walking 5 miles I flagged down a car headed toward Jacksonville NC . Car stopped and it was a Pender county deputy. I explained to him what I thought happened . He explained to me that (the highway patrol) had come up on a single car accident 4 hrs earlier . Well that was my 4 wheel drive Grand Cherokee with proper tags and insurance and registerion . The officer kindly said I was full of sh$& and I being a Marine Officer to him kindly told him to stick it where the sun doesn't shine . To say the least we didn't hit it off too good . I was charged with Driving While Intoxicated , Failure to report Accident , Leaving the Scene of an Accident , No Seat Belt and Driving while License Revoked . I was incarcerated that Saturday morning @ 0530 and went before the judge at 0900 Tuesday morning . Made my bail that morning , took a cab to where my totaled truck was . My dress uniforms , BDU 's , personal clothes and 2 sidearm's were gone . The man who towed my truck from the wreck site to the impound said nothing was in the vehicle. Well after arriving at base Tuesday evening with just my driver license and military ID I had to pay for all my uniforms to be replaced so I could report to my new command the up coming Monday morning at 0600 hrs . Hired a lawyer in Jacksonville to handle the case in Pender county, said he could dispose of it without me having to go to court . Three weeks later , I was sent TDY to Hawaii to take command of Recon 1st Marines 3 battion where I retired with 25 yrs and a chest full of medals ! Two years ago I was stopped for speeding on I -40 west and that's when I was made aware of tickets from 19 years ago. The lawyer I hired took my money and ran . Mr . Mason took the case and had every thing dismissed on January 10, 2017 . I was proud that he took the case and also took the time to explain the law and what he was going to do . Not only is Mr. Mason a great attorney but I as a retired Full Bird Colonel think of him as my friend . Thank - you for your time !!!
