Victoria Hardin

My real rating would be 4.5/5 stars if I could. Clicking 4 would feel unfair, so this review is both appreciative and constructive. Retaining Attorney Hardin was a no-brainer — truly “you get what you pay for.” She and her team are among the most respected family law firms in the area, and they’ve... earned that reputation. No one hopes to end up in divorce/custody litigation, but when you do, you want the right people on your side. Services ran from 09/2022–03/2025 (final hearing 12/2024). I learned so much through Hardin’s guidance and my own deep involvement. The team is responsive, focused, and intentional. I mean this with praise, not reduction. The office gives a confident, feminine, capable “Legally Blonde energy (in the best way)” — empowered, sharp, competent and never belittling to men or opposing parties. Their culture is rooted in integrity, purpose, and loyalty. The firm later brought in Attorney Kominskas, which naturally felt nerve-racking initially, but I ended up appreciating his calm communication and presence. I was a very involved client (probably more than necessary — survival mode + commitment), and Hardin collaborated with me as much as I needed. Be mindful as a consumer: every email, call, maybe every word/page printed is billable — standard for attorneys. They provide detailed invoices. Even when I was overwhelmed by emotion recounting traumatic experiences, Hardin maintained my best interest with a fair, judicial approach toward the (in my opinion) less-than-deserving opposing party. This is exactly the tone I asked for from day one as emotions can sometimes hinder our integrity in the moment, if we let it. When needed, she stepped in with precision and grace — what some might call a shark in the courtroom. She helped carry what I couldn’t articulate under pressure as clearly as I can now in writing. My .5 deduction is based on two things: 1. Timeliness of document requests: a few came with <24hrs notice, which was stressful in high-stakes moments. Some of that was my own disorganization, and I offer grace — their timestamps show they work day and night. 2. Post-judgment foresight: in hindsight, I wonder if additional stipulations could have been included to prevent a few predictable post-case issues, saving future time/energy/money. Part of this is also “you don’t know what you don’t know” in a first-time legal process. Overall, Hardin is fiercely committed to her clients. You must be comfortable with her tough-love, no-time-wasted approach, because everyone’s time is valuable — and billable. She’s not a therapist (nor is she permitted be), but she and her team are deeply compassionate, transparent, and dedicated. I walked away liberated, dignified, and grateful. I received full/sole legal and physical custody and a fair divorce settlement (although, I still joke I deserved more if certain assets were accessible lol). As Hardin reminded me — “Be careful who you marry and have kids with!” Duly noted — lol. I would rehire The Hardin Law Firm without hesitation. They’ll remain in my back pocket for as long as they’re practicing. With utmost respect and gratitude — thank you, a 1000x over.

I’m not going to lie and say that giving a review at a time when your life is at its lowest point is easy. However, for my female friends who are going through this or men who are, I want to share that Victoria was incredibly kind to me. She offered me words of encouragement and supported me through ...this incredibly difficult experience that I hope no one ever has to endure. A year ago, I never imagined that I would be seeking an attorney, specifically a divorce attorney, but here I am, a year later. Victoria will take care of you during this challenging time. She’ll be honest and straightforward, and you might not agree with everything she says, but it’s essential because, let’s be honest, when you’re going through a divorce, it’s difficult to focus on anything else but your anger, sadness, and the feeling of brokenness. You need someone to guide you through this difficult journey, and I highly recommend Victoria Harden to stand by your side and help you navigate through it.

I can't say enough about the incredible work of Attorney Victoria Gillispie Hardin and the Hardin Law Firm. When my ex-wife attempted to move 3,000 miles away with our children and filed for custody right under my nose, I felt like my world was crumbling. It was a terrifying and long, drawn-out proce...ss, but Victoria's professionalism and passion were a constant source of strength. She truly cared about my case and fought tirelessly to protect my children and me. Throughout it all, she made me feel completely at ease, even when I was at my most stressed. Choosing Victoria was absolutely the best decision I've ever made. I would go to the ends of the earth for my children, and if I had to do it all over again, I would hire her again without a second thought. I would highly recommend her to anyone facing a high-conflict custody case.

Attorney Hardin is truly an exceptional lawyer. She actually cares about her clients. She addressed all my concerns in a timely manner and is unmatched in her preparation for you as her client. I told her at the end of a very long divorce that if you believe in God pray to him but put your trust... in Victoria Hardin.
