I’m not going to lie and say that giving a review at a time when your life is at its lowest point is easy. However, for my female friends who are going through this or men who are, I want to share that Victoria was incredibly kind to me. She offered me words of encouragement and supported me through ...this incredibly difficult experience that I hope no one ever has to endure. A year ago, I never imagined that I would be seeking an attorney, specifically a divorce attorney, but here I am, a year later. Victoria will take care of you during this challenging time. She’ll be honest and straightforward, and you might not agree with everything she says, but it’s essential because, let’s be honest, when you’re going through a divorce, it’s difficult to focus on anything else but your anger, sadness, and the feeling of brokenness. I can't say enough about the incredible work of Attorney Victoria Gillispie Hardin and the Hardin Law Firm. When my ex-wife attempted to move 3,000 miles away with our children and filed for custody right under my nose, I felt like my world was crumbling. It was a terrifying and long, drawn-out proce...ss, but Victoria's professionalism and passion were a constant source of strength. She truly cared about my case and fought tirelessly to protect my children and me. Throughout it all, she made me feel completely at ease, even when I was at my most stressed. Victoria and I met in 2013 for a divorce consult and again in 2015 after my marriage failed for sure. Advice she gave me helped me to secure a 50/50 custody relationship as a Dad in NC. Her legal advice and steps to achieve this was a marathon not a sprint. She worked through a situation over a cours...e of months to undo financial orders from a Judge who was hostile to my case. The opposing Attorney drug out the temporary for months. Victoria filed motions, depositions and attempts to identify hidden bank accounts. Also, worked through mediation where we could. In the end, I have the time with my kids I deserve and financial judgements can live with even though she advised me to take it to the judge. In hindsight I should have let her. She gave ethical, clear and direct guidance through out the divorce proceedings which concluded 12/2017 and knows the local rules. She plays by the rules even when the other attorneys don't. Excellent consultation. In what appears to be the most hopeless situation, Attorney Hardin gave great advice. She is direct and to the point. Though you may not hear what to hear (I did not), her guidance is on poin. She both depressed and made me laugh simultaneously. She will definitely be the... attorney I'll hire should the time come
