Child Custody Case--Excellent outcome that was in the best interest of the children

My sister was recently involved in a child custody situation. Simone was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. From the beginning, she understood what my sister was enduring with not having access to her two daughters, as a result of arbitrary and controlling behavior of their father. Simone wa...s honest with my sister and assured her that the ultimate outcome would be in the best interest of the children. Simone was beyond prepared at each and every step of the process leading up tot he actual child custody trial. She went in with a "game plan", but was deft and nimble at shifting her strategy when key testimonies and documents were admitted into evidence. Her preparation allowed the judge to see the truth in the facts presented and rendered her judgment accordingly. Thanks to Simone, my sister can now move forward, confident in the knowledge that "right" has prevailed again! ;-)

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
