Simone Alston Williams

I hired Ms. Williams to represent me in a divorce case involving my military spouse. From the beginning, I expressed that my primary concern was the well-being of my children and being able to remain in my home. Unfortunately, I feel that my case was handled with negligence. Ms. Williams failed to... provide timely and essential information to help me prepare for court — for example, I was not advised in advance to obtain an appraisal for my home. As someone who does not go through divorce proceedings regularly, I depended on my attorney for guidance. This lack of communication nearly cost me my home. To make matters worse, Mr. Williams filed a lien against my property claiming I owed legal fees, which I dispute. Even after she was fully paid, the lien remained on my home and took over a year to be removed. In my opinion, Mr. Williams showed a lack of integrity and professionalism throughout the process. She appeared more focused on financial gain than on advocating for my interests. I would not recommend her services to others seeking compassionate and responsible legal representation.

I paid 3k and the only thing she did is continued my child support case for the whole 2022 year. Than smile in your face and next thing you get a letter from her requesting from the courts not to represent you anymore after you express disappointment because its been lingering for a whole year almos...t. In return you receive from her a email talking bout her rates and how much she charged but the only thing she have been doing is pushing your court case back. I got the job done by representing myself. She don't care about Father Rights it's just another day in the office and easy money for her. I could have saved my money and just represented myself. She'll make it sound good at 1st. She lay out the plan and everything when you give her the money. Next thing when you court she be telling something totally different. She'll request a continous lol. It's funny now but I'll never give her any more of my money ever again .. I wouldn't do this but it's the principle now and I can't let this one ride. She doesn't have a steady office. She always moving somewhere. She all over the place. She need to tighten up. Prepare to take a L if you use her

I hired Simone Williams for my custody and child support case. She did NOT fight so that I could have complete shared/joint custody of my child and with child support, I had provided her the discrepancies of my sons mother paperwork where she falsified documentation and clearly explained to her what ...I expected during court. Simone did NOTHING during my court case and basically worked for the plaintiff. She did NOT show nor argue what proof we had and allowed them to come up with a bogus child support payment for me. Simone is worthless, a liar, and very incompetent when it comes to working for her clients. She was quick to take my money in both cases but didn’t quickly put forth the effort to defend me in which I paid her to do. Knowing her personally, I expected more from her but once she got a divorce, she became scorned and bitter. I would NOT recommend using Simone Williams for anything because you will NOT win.

I retained Simone and her team after a decent consultation. After never being able to get a hold of her again, and having multiple issues with her team ( they were sending me the wrong information, sending me private information about other people's cases on accident, submitting the wrong paper work,... etc.) I decided to attempt to reclaim my retainer. When I showed up at the office and confronted Simone on her firms incompetence, she became angry and rude. She kept all of my money and I was forced to pay out of pocket for another and more competent attorney. I wasted thousands of dollars by retaining Simone Williams. I would stay far far away from this unprofessional and incompetent attorney.

I have a child custody case and my paperwork was sent to the wrong address taking my right to respond to a child custody case simone did not fight for my right in court and was getting my last name mixed up with the defendant and our names are no where similiar she was seeming incompetent to the cour...t. She doesnt meet with you ,make ger client a priority and her team makes the excuse of her having 50-80 clients as to why she is so forgetfull she bites off more than she can chew I terminated services after 3 months of her getting nothing done with my case and emailing her relatively every week repeating myself and her seemingly advocating for the defendant I gave her 1300.00 and she didnt want to refund me even thougj she did absolutely nothing did not help me and put my child in danger and then has an attitude when you correct her no im left to defend myself in my child custody case I do not trust simone all she wants is the money and I had the most terrible experience having her as a lawyer I will not recommend her at all.
