Arcangela Mazzariello began her career as a political poller working on presidential campaigns across the country. Putting off her childhood aspirations of being an attorney as long as she could, she finally got down to business and went back to school. She graduated from St. Joseph’s College and City University of New York Law School at Queens College. Arcangela began her legal career as a prosecutor at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office in New York City in the Domestic Violence Unit.
While visiting a friend in Gastonia, North Carolina, she saw a house that she knew she had to buy. The next thing she knew, she was studying for the North Carolina bar exam and has been here ever since, though she still prefers sauerkraut on her hot dogs.
EXPERIENCE
While starting her career as a criminal defense attorney, a false arrest led to the birth of her first civil case - one that resulted in a $23 million verdict for her clients. Since then, she has tackled many false arrests, abuse of process, wrongful terminations, etc. As a matter of fact, for the past 22 years, Arcangela has been known as the attorney to see when no one else will listen.

Incredible Through and Through
We hired Arcangela to represent us/our teenage daughter in a sensitive high school situation. Her candor was refreshing and she even made us laugh in a less than funny moment. She was direct and handled our case swiftly. Arc was able to get us exactly what we thought was fair which was a reversed suspension from a high school sports team due to precedence of recently decided supreme court case. I would call her again in a heartbeat. She and her team were all professional, while also having a personal touch that meant a lot to us.

Arc was amazing to work with. She and her staff were very professional and on top of my case at all times. She always was available to answer my questions and made sure I understood all my options. She does a great job of making sure you feel like her only client. The situation that lead to me seeking out her services made me extremely emotionally vulnerable, she was very empathic and listened. I never thought that I would be able to find a lawyer that would own my case as if it was their own life but Arc did just that. I can't say enough about how happy I am with hiring her as my counsel. I contacted this firm for some legal advice on a possible case. Right from the start we were met with professionalism and a warm demeanor. I was contacted by Sissy, who was a calming voice, she answered all my questions and provided next steps. The office followed up and provided a clear direction of the process. My meeting with attorney Arcangela "Arc" Mazzariello was both informative and very relaxed. She encouraged me to speak freely and voice all of my questions and or concerns. She was very knowledgeable and extremely detailed with her answers. She provided possible outcomes and gave advice on what next steps would be most beneficial for my situation.
I am extremely pleased with our interaction with this office. Everyone, I spoke with displayed a high level of customer service and professionalism. I felt as if I was speaking with close family friends rather than someone I that I just met for the first time!

Exactly what I needed
I consulted with and hired Arcangela Mazzariello. Arcangela (“Arc”) was exactly the type of legal counsel and representation that I needed and wanted. She articulated the constraints of a legal challenge in North Carolina and the EEOC requirements that go with it. She did an excellent job of expectation-setting and in helping me understand why certain aspects of the construction and management of my case were a priority. Legalese can be really intimidating for someone that didn’t go to law school; and she did an outstanding job of breaking things down in a way that I could digest them.
Most importantly – she’s honest. She gives you the good, the bad, and the ugly – so that you can make informed choices. Not everyone likes real honesty. Everyone says they do – but so many people will tell you what they think you want to hear. Arc didn’t do that to me. She valued my time and my energy by not wasting it on fluff or wild goose chases – and that means a LOT to me.
The best kinds of experiences inspire brand / personal loyalty – and I can’t imagine ever taking my legal needs anywhere else at this point. I highly recommend her services.

Excellent caring attorney !
I had a consultation with Ms. Mazzairello over a slander and wrongful termination from a vending community . She very quickly and efficiently garnered the necessary information from me and clearly explained why I did not have a case to proceed with . Some time later I did need an attorney to help me in collecting monies owed from a client ,so being so impressed with our previous meeting I returned. The matter was settled with a phone call and the money in arrears was promptly received . I was then able to refer her to a friend for their situation where I had the opportunity to sit in on their mediation session . Again- Ms.Mazzairello is very quick to size up the facts and submit a defensive case before a panel or judge .
While I hope to not need an attorney at any point - If I ever do Ms. Mazzairello will be my go to .

Impressive
I do not impress easily but Arcangela has impressed me on every level.
She's not the first attorney that I hired for my situation but she's the only attorney that has accomplished moving things in the right direction.
She's straightforward and very honest, two qualities that I appreciate.
I believe she truly cares about her clients and that sets her apart from all attorneys I have used my entire life with the exception of one.

Arcangela is the greatest! I first met her after a bad motorcycle accident that left me immobile. She came to me since I was unable to to come to her. She answered all my questions and guided me thru everything step by step. She totally took care of me. I have since used her services and expertise again and wouldn't even consider calling anyone else should I need legal care in the future.

Strong and Loyal
I have worked with Arcangela as co-counsel for many years and found her to be a wonderful advocate for her clients. She works hard for the people she represents with compassion and grit. Great if you need a bombshell uncovered
Arc is relentless in her pursuit of the truth and because of her tireless work ethic and unwillingness to take no for an answer she was able to break my case open when evidence was hidden from us. Highly highly recommend!
