About me

Alan was born and raised in Pittsburg, Texas.

After graduating from Pittsburg High School, Alan earned a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where he majored in political science and was a member of the Douglas MacArthur Academy of Freedom. In May 2009, he received his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School, where he was a member of the nationally-ranked mock trial advocacy teams. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2009.

Immediately following graduation, Alan returned home to East Texas.  He begins his career at Sloan, Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Law Firm where he maintains an active civil trial practice.  He helps individuals whose lives have been changed by personal injury, wrongful death, and defective products. Alan was a part of a trial team that won a $727,000.00 verdict in July 2010 for a car wreck victim who required spinal disc replacement surgery.

In September 2011, Alan graduated from the nationally-renowned Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming, founded by Gerry Spence.

Away from the office, Alan enjoys spending time with his wife, Tovah, and their son.
