Biography
Eli Timberg is a criminal defense attorney with a focus on domestic violence, drugs, and DWI and a track record of delivering for his clients. Prior to joining Rawls, Scheer, Clary & Mingo in 2022, Eli spent more than six years at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender, where he gained considerable experience representing clients accused of misdemeanor assault, felony drug and property charges, and domestic violence.
Eli’s specialty is taking on the most challenging cases and securing the best outcome for his clients. While he has taken dozens of cases to trial and prevailed in many, he also understands that many good outcomes can be achieved without trial by learning from, listening to, and truly understanding his clients and their goals.

Mr. Timberg was able to get the charges reduced on my daughter’s ticket. Her driving class was canceled multiple times and court pushed back as a result. It was getting very stressful, but Mr. Timberg and the wonderful staff handled everything very professionally reduced my stress.
