Mark Jetton is a miracle worker! He represented me on two occasions for charges that (to me) were indefensible and a sure conviction. Last March I was charged with a horrible DWI, hit and run, careless and wreckless, and a carrying a concealed weapon charge. I had never been in trouble like this before which meant that I had no idea who I would hire to be my lawyer. I decided to trust all the internet research I did and called Mark... Jetton. I was shocked to get a call back a few hours later on a Saturday night from Mark, telling me that he would come in on the next day (Sunday) to meet with me and go over my case. Being as upset and embarrassed as I was after being arrested, Mark assured me that I was going to be alright and that he was going to help me either fight the case or get the charges reduced as much as he could. After meeting with Mark, I realized why he was one of the best reviewed DWI and criminal lawyers in the country. I requested the court date keep getting pushed back and Mark was able to work the system and get my case extended as long as he possibly could which was around 8 months. I went into the last court date expecting to have the book thrown at me but I was shocked to find out that Mark had worked out a Plea deal where the DWI, Hit and Run, and Careless and Wreckless charges would be thrown out if I plead guilty to the carrying a concealed weapon. I almost started crying tears of joy when I heard that. All I had to do was take the CCW certification course on a Saturday later on that month and give the paperwork to Mark who took care of the rest. I am so thankful to have hired Mark as my lawyer and he is the only one I will ever recommend in the future!

I hired Mark after two lawyers I was not happy with related to some domestic violence misdemeanor charges. These other lawyers promised that they would review the evidence from the DA, however ended-up not reviewing them and brought me "deals" that were based on their conversations with the ADAs. I... was extremely frustrated with this, as I felt they were looking to just get a deal and move-on. Mark is a trial lawyer, and he was not afraid to take the case to court, and then to appeal if need be. His strategy and conversations with the ADAs were with an eye towards not just the primary case but also the appeal. The other lawyers I hired were not interested in appeal - they approached it as if this was a one and done thing. And especially due to their non-review of the evidence, I had to accept a plea deal for a previous charge which, in hindsight, had I hired Mark, I would not have accepted. Mark is no-BS, presentable, and on-point. He was also very responsive. He has a good rappor with the ADAs, but is not afraid to play hard ball, and makes this known. I have very high respect for Mark. I would hire him again, in a heart-beat. And for anyone trying to evaluate lawyers out there, pick a "trial-lawyer", and pick a lawyer that is talking to you about appeal if necessary. I only wish I had hired Mark for my prior (misdemeanor) cases as well.
