Rita Pearl Henry

I retained Rita for a pretty cut and dry case. She refused to answer my calls or follow up and failed to submit documentation and evidence. I ended up losing the case and had to secure another lawyer for an appeal. I selected her because of my wife's recommendation - they have a mutual close friend -... and she feels terrible because she basically took our money and ran.

Very disappointed. She dodged me, long wait times for callbacks and I would stop by her office and still no response back. She shared info with oponent side. Representation was very upsetting. It was awful it was a yr or two ago but ive seen her at a restaurant and when I think of it, it realky brung...s me to tears. These are our kid's your fighting for and there should be a better standard for such representation.

Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about Ms. Henry. She represented me for a family law issue and showed little to no interest in helping me. She never returned phone calls (Even after months of no contact). She was even a no show for 2 scheduled meeting at her office. As my case progre...ssed, her limited knowledge was exposed. Compared to the attorney my ex had, Ms. Henry was very inexperienced and showed no confidence in front of the judge. Bottom line.....I would've achieved the same result if I represented myself. She did absolutely nothing for me. Save your money and do not hire this woman for any legal issue..let alone....a family law issue. I contemplated filing a complaint with the NC Bar....and still may do so.

I contacted mrs Rita Henry from a referral from the ARAG legal plan that is a benefit we pay for to always have legal counsel. At first mrs Rita did a good job at speaking with me an discussing the case. She requested docs via email, agreed to terms as discussed and I assumed it was handled. Since th...e last email about a month ago she has not returned voicemails, emails ect. I have already lost an additional $800 since i contacted her. She actually made me loose money waiting on her.

MRS. HENRY WAS VERY ATTENTIVE, PROFESSIONAL, AND GENUINE. MRS. HENRY'S FEE WAS REASONABLE AND FAIR. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A STRONG, HONEST, AND REALISTIC ATTORNEY. I FELT CONFIDENT IN MY CASE AND LEFT SATISFIED WITH ALL MRS. HENRY DID FOR OUR FAMILY. MRS HENRYS AN...D HER STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE TO HELP OR TO JUST TALK IF NEEDED. IF I SHOULD EVER NEED AN ATTORNEY AGAIN, I WOULD DEFFINTLY FEEL COMFORTABLE RETAINING MRS HENRY AGAIN.
