David vs Goliath

Daron Satterfield loves his job. I wouldn’t have it for love or money, but here is a man who truly loves his work. Here is my story. I sold some land in 2018 in Durham County. The real estate agents Alex Rivers and David Balon did, by way of deception, caused me to sign an agreement with them while under contract to another agency. They told me that their lawyer, Josh Whitaker, said that I did not receive “adequate compensation”. As a result of this advice, I told the first party that I had not received adequate compensation and signed with Alex Rivers and David Balon of ReMax. Within six days or less, a lis pendens or “suit pending” was filed against the land. That action froze my land and put me into a state of severe depression. I hired Kenneth Haywood, a lawyer from the agency of Howard Stallings From Atkins Angell and Davis in Raleigh. I paid him $7500. We went to mediation, all to no avail as I told Haywood. Nothing else was done except for more billing, up to nearly $13000. I refused to pay any more and he quit!~ Daron took on the job at short notice, sat up all night and found case law and president that allowed my effort to continue. We went to court and he was astounding in his remarks to the jury, and his cross examination of this swine. It took about 90 minutes for the jury to find in my favor. A Knowledgeable, Smart , Caring and Professional Lawyer

Daron Satterfield is a knowledgeable, smart, caring and professional lawyer to work with. He represented us in a real estate case to recover a hefty sum of due diligence money. He did a fantastic job and won the arbitration for us. Now he is doing the paperwork to recover the funds because the defendants did not pay the award. Very experienced, and amazing consultation

I came to Daron recently regarding a dispute with my apartment complex, and was unaware of my options of how to get out of my lease. Immediate Real Estate Closing

I chose Attorney Satterfield to close on my first investment property that I needed closed quickly. He was able to close for me within 2 weeks. Great team effort to close on my real estate purchase

Both attorney Daron Satterfield and his paralegal Vondell Davis provided exceptional service during a closing on a condominium I recently purchased in Chapel Hill. Mr. Satterfield is friendly and engaging. He was helpful in answering any question I had with regard to the closing process and paperwork. Ms. Davis was extremely responsive and went above and beyond what I would have considered "typical" for a closing attorney's office staff to do - particularly working to answer questions I had regarding the financial statements related to the closing. Ms. Davis wrote and promptly responded to many emails (not just from me, but from all parties) and researched an issue I had with some HOA charges. She was professional and courteous. Both attorney Satterfield and paralegal Davis did great work and I really felt they put me, as the client, first in the process. I am very satisfied and happy that I asked attorney Satterfield's firm to handle my closing!

Amazing Gentleman! What a life saver!!

Mr. Satterfield really came through to help my family and I with a case in less than 24 hours. Even met with us early and had a Judge give an okay and documents signed first thing in the morning. What a relief to find a lawyer that understands your situation and walks you through each step so you understand every detail. To have this amount of relief after a case like this is a Godsend. I lost my long time attorney of 37 yrs and his office shared this nice attorney that surely could help me. I can only say excellent words of such a OUTSTANDING representation of a Office of the Court officer. I called upon Mr. Safferfield at 6:30pm he called back at 7:30pm he listened and said how he could help. He went above a beyond he made a HELL MARY SAVE HAPPEN !! The matter had to be handled in less than 24hr. I meet him at 7:30am the next morning he SAVED the situation complete by 930am judge signed and sealed. Very Professional Standards

I had an initial consultation about a Gift-Transfer document needed for a dying 90-year old parent. Other local attorneys had not responded to our request for assistance but Mr. Satterfield offered to assist given our need even though his travel was beyond his immediate marketplace. Prior to his significant involvement started, I did receive a call from a local attorney who had been out with the Flu and had time to immediately assist us. I felt bad about not moving forward with Mr. Satterfield but he insisted I did not owe him for the time we spent discussing our situation and he encouraged me to use the local attorney as they could meet our tight time constraints. That was just very professional of him and I suspect that professionalism would extend to any work he would handle.
