Lemon law arbitration

Has a transmission issue with my new Hyundai. After 3 failed attempts to fix the issue with the dealer, I contacted Rick to see what I can do to proceed with the lemon law. Rick has been very responsive as well as offering the best courses of action under my circumstances. He has also been very good ...about following up with my case throughout the process. I ended up doing a BBB arbitration (which ruled in my favor) at his advice. If it weren't for the actions he told me to do to build my case early on, I would have had a much weaker lemon law case during the arbitration. I highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for a lemon law attorney.

Experienced lawyer lead by his character and morals.....Vehicle Repurchasing due to lemon law

I wanted to say if you are needing a vote of confidence to help you decide who to choose to represent you, choose Mr. Richard Mcneil. I was involved in going through a vehicle repurchase. I searched through a lot of lawyers and called at least 6. I came across avvo. That's where I tried Mr. McNeil. M...r. McNeil returned my call immediately. I gave him all of the information verbally concerning my situation and he advised me accordingly. One shocking thing was when he told me actually, that I didn't need a lawyer because of where I was in the process. Where I'm sure others would have taken advantage of that and would have used that to line their pockets at the detriment of another. Mr. McNeil stated "my concern isn't to misuse you, but to help you. It wouldn't suit me to charge you when I know that I shouldn't". It was the most refreshing breath of air. He patiently answered all of my questions and brought some clarity and relief to me. For anyone going through this process of a repurchase due to a lemon issue, you'd know it's a frustrating, challenging process. But by hearing the sincerity and truth from him, help me in my confidence of what he advised me to do. So although there are some who have a lot of ratings up here. Know this, I'm an unpaid, unsolicited, grateful client who is appreciative of his character and work ethic. If you are looking for someone with experience and your best interest at heart, please choose him. He really is worth the investment of trust, time and money.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
