Founding attorney Lars Kissling earned his law degree from the Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. Before founding Oak City Estate Planning in Raleigh, Lars practiced in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. He learned the value of estate planning after his parents’ forward-thinking actions allowed he and his siblings to benefit from their accrued wealth despite multi-year stints in nursing homes at the end of their lives. Lars now devotes his practice to helping clients make similarly effective and proactive plans that will benefit their children and other loved ones. He himself is a parent of two and has been happily married for over 25 years.

Unreliable
At the beginning Mr. Kissling was a reliable source to go to when my mother and I would have traffic tickets and have court to go to. His number would be saved on my phone however recently he seem disinterested and short tempered. He agreed to show up to my court date and we agreed on pricing however...
I was sorry to hear that this person was unsatisfied. However, they failed to actually hire me before their court date. After they contacted me about their case, I offered to get it resolved if they paid my fee by the end of the week and they chose not to pay me. I even offered to waive my fee for not paying on time but they declined.

Speeding Ticket Resolution
Mr. Kissling's services were 100% as advertised. Initial consultation was free. Speeding ticket resolution was exactly as described by Mr. Kissling. Legal service was efficient and follow-up was timely. I was pleasantly impressed and would hire again.
