Bonnie Ansley Thompson is a licensed attorney in the State of North Carolina. Bonnie currently focuses her practice in the areas of family law and domestic violence.
She graduated in the top of her class at North Carolina Central University School of Law. Before becoming an attorney, Bonnie worked as a domestic violence victim advocate and domestic violence victim advocacy is still a passion of hers today. While in law school, Bonnie earned her certification in alternative dispute resolution.
She is a member of the 28th Judicial District Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). She has previously served as the Secretary for the Solo, Small Firm and General Practice (SSGP) Division of the NCBA and as a board member of the Elna B. Spaulding Conflict Resolution Center.
When not diligently representing her clients, Bonnie enjoys spending time with her family and retreating into the natural beauty of North Carolina.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Bonnie is a breath of fresh air in the Wake County family law community. She is smart, caring, kind, knowledgeable, and skilled. She also has a lot of common sense which is so necessary when advocating for clients who might be tempted to allow their emotions to influence poor decisions. I highly recommend Bonnie Ansley for all divorce, separation, child custody/support, marital property division and spousal support issues.
