Knowledgable Lawyer

Marcia represented me in my divorce/seperation and child custody case. Right of the bat I knew that Marcia was going to be a good lawyer. Her personality was not that of an arrogant lawyer who was more interested in impressing spectators. She seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy and sympathetic to ...my circumstances. Marcia was always helpful and always made me feel as though she truly cared. She was a very busy but somehow always managed to know the answers to the questions that I had. I feel as though she charged me fairly considering my circumstances and although I may not have been her top paying client I do not feel that had any bearing on the service that I received. I will hire her again if I have the need for a lawyer in the future and I would recommend her services to my friends and family.

We had a custody issue with our neice and we on a very limited time frame due to school starting. Ms Stewart was great and everything worked out just as she said it would.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
